The current issue to be addressed in DC is crime not tourism. In 2025 tourism is down 5%, but they are planning to recover that next year. Foot traffic will also recover as car-jackings and other crimes are reduced. Troops on the street don't scare people, they scare criminals.

Its the blue cites in any state where all the crime is. So using states is cover up and dumb one anyone can see through. Most states are Red in the first place. But if we focus in the areas of crime we see democrats one party rule cities often with black mayors and sanctuaries for illegals attracting criminals failed crime policies and more support for criminals than victims.
The foundation of crime and poverty are democrat polices support for single mothers and DAs refusing to prosecute crime, welfare that destroyed the father in the family. Democrats own this problem

The crime centers are blue cities in red states as you correctly state. Gaslighting democrats use these cities to skew the numbers (per capita) in these red states. I think it would be a stroke of genius for Trump to deploy NG to these blue cities with the red state governor's blessing to illustrate the effectiveness when the policy is not obstructed by the democrats.

Re: charging the parents--I AGREE WHOLE HEARTEDLY. Parents need to be held accountable for AND to their offspring. They are the parents and if they have lost control of their children, they can approach the government for help reigning in the incorrigible. They also should be held accountable for feeding their offspring. The unfortunate that are down and out are given SNAP and welfare to support these families and free school lunches for all is just molly coddling these deadbeat parents.

Absolutely, yes! I live 30-ish miles from the one significant population center of my red state. They try to be a blue utopia, but they'd be easy to clean up. .

Our state just began an organization called Operation Prairie Thunder, and they're aimed right straight at removing the few illegals we have as well as the drug/homeless problem. I'd love to see more focus on their mission.

Your OP title and the poll question actually ask the opposite things.

1. Trump should pursue stamping out crime wherever he can within the limits of his Exec. power. Or, if he is to act like a democrat, then a bit far beyond his power forcing congress to reel him back in.
2. Doing it in big blue cities is sure to make leftist heads explode. Apparently they are good with crime. That's enough reason right there.
3. Doing it in big blue cities and getting popular, positive results is sure to please a lot of people while embarrassing democrats why they could not do as much. Who knows, maybe it will spur a few democrats to actually take their jobs more seriously.
