There are laws against treason.
Then there is the decision by the AG, possibly made by the Prez, to either prosecute or not prosecute (and in the process aid and abet by covering up). To decide to NOT prosecute an act of treason is to join it.
If you want to argue otherwise, have at it. We have at least 7 straight AGs, the last 7, possibly with Prez approval, "guilty" of not prosecuting acts of treason against America.
