Texas AG Ken Paxton encourages students to recite Lord’s Prayer in latest test of church-state separation

This is not a theocracy driven by one religion.
Education should include all subjects... why deny only one?... religion has been around since men have... it can be taught without indoctrination... I never have understood the fear of that... Both American literature and world literature approach the subject often...

I went to Christian schools and we prayed every day. Once a month, they marched us to mass.

Nothing wrong with teaching kids about Almighty God

...as long as it is YOUR god.

What is the need to not have some kind of a moral education and the theory of an afterlife.... if people grow up thinking this is all there is they grow up thinking there are no lasting consequences....

As long as it is YOUR definition of "moral education," right?

He may want the kids to do the Lord's Prayer, but that doesn't mean they will....Plus, they can say it anytime they want; nothing has ever stopped them.

Work on reading comprehension.
Yes you do need to if your think I was referring to any religion... I was referring to lessons in morality and something all religions teach the existence of an afterlife...
find anywhere where I mentioned God...
Now say you are sorry...

OK, I guess I need to explain like I would to a slow child: there were TWO DIFFERENT QUOTED POSTS. The post has SEPARATE REPLIES to each quoted post.

I don't care... where in any of my posts did I say anything about God or any specific religion?... I'll be here waiting for you to find one... stubborness is a close friend of stupid...

Ken 'running for US Senate' Paxton wants public school students to voluntarily sing the Lord's Prayer in school.
There is no separation of church and state.

The first amendment prohibits congress from enacting laws regarding the establishment of religion. Not Texas.

Dude what does that even mean?... it has nothing to do with my statements... you are reaching man....

I feel like I'm dealing with a slow-witted child here. OK, I will try to simplify this as much as I can.

I don't care... where in any of my posts did I say anything about God or any specific religion?... I'll be here waiting for you to find one... stubborness is a close friend of stupid...

One more time for the slow kid: I never claimed you did.

Dude what does that even mean?... it has nothing to do with my statements... you are reaching man....

Either you realize your mistake and are flailing, or you truly are the slowest person here. In the post that has you flailing, I quoted two DIFFERENT posts. One was by Polishprince, who posted:

I went to Christian schools and we prayed every day. Once a month, they marched us to mass.

That post was the one I was replying to when I mentioned God. That was NOT YOUR POST. It had nothing to do with you and still does not. I then quoted your post, and replied to it, not mentioning God at all.

How do you figure?

In eastern Ohio, the Christian schools literally outperformed the government schools- even though Christian schools were dramatically underfunded. The prayer was the key to success.
Public schools vs. religious schools.
