Israel, Canada, and Afghanistan are sovereign states with rights and responsibilities mandated by international law. Gaza is not; it's occupied territory and Israel is its occupying power. That means Jews are legally responsible for the protected persons under its occupation. Both sides are currently guilty of war crimes, but as occupying power it is Israel's responsibility to end its collective punishment of protected persons before it's reasonable to expect Hamas resistance to end.

Zionists made it very clear for over a hundred years they intended to displace the indigenous Arab population of Palestine in order to create a Jewish state, and Arabs have known this before you and I were born.
