I'll believe that when I see it. Maybe mine sweepers, but not troops.

Iran surrendered before, so there is precedent to surrender and live to fight another day.
Trump may be pressing the CIA to expedite regime change, if the IRGC hangs tough Iran is done, their oil wells will dry up if not pumped.
Personally, I'm against a deal to buy time, both for peace in the world and for Iran to rebuild and come back stronger later on. We need to nip this in the bud right now and not let them build back up again. Iran is actually wanting a "peace" deal, guaranteeing them no more attacks while they intend to rebuild back stronger than ever. We need to maintain the right to bomb the shit out of them again. No nuclear means no nuclear - forever.

Tru dat. Iran is in this for the long haul. Iran is not someone who forgives and forgets. This is a way of life to these people. Iran is out to get us one way or the other and most likely will try some sort of attack, terror or assassination here in the USA no matter what we do. When you get someone like Iran down, you don't stop, you get them before they can get you.

So far, it has worked out for them pretty well too, having bought 50 years of extra time so far.

And Europe just wants to give them yet more time.
That's why Trump needs to finish them off. If we make some kind of 10 or 20 year supposed peace deal, all it does is give them time to rebuild and get better. After that, they will be much stronger, have better technology and, if democrats or someone weak is in power, we will then begin negotiations with Iran while they get even stronger and stronger as negotiations go on forever.

Those on the left are so increbibly naive. The idiots would rather believe Iran, Hamas, or Hezbollah before believing the US or Israel. The signs, "Queers for Palestine" is a prime example of their level of stupidity. Hell, Iran's very own Gulf neighbors have told us we should finish the job. There's a reason for that the left are totally blind to.

I'm not sure it is just mere naivete, they seem almost a willing and deliberate advocate for all things and anything not America.

Consider, their iconic hero Barrack, what did he run on but to "fundamentally change" America.

No one seeks to fundamentally change anything you like; these are no tweaks, not fixes to tiny mistakes we made but to gut the foundation upon which the USA rests.

Yeah, that was funny with Obama being elected because he wanted to "change the way America works". One of the first things he did was in trying to pass Obamacare, using back room deals in order to get it passed. That's literally the way America works and has always worked.

Another thing he did while president was in never spending one dime for government spending. He labeled everything as not spending any money but as it being an "investment". Every dime he spent wasn't really spending but "investments". He invested 50 billion on this, 100 billion on that, and 500 billion on something else.

Perpetual liars. One reason I don't believe anything Iran says since we lit them up.

The Obama connection.

BARTIROMO: "There were 14 wire transfers to a Swiss account linked to Hezbollah. Between 2014 and 2016, that was a total of $1.7 billion. The same $1.7 billion, he told Congress, was frozen Iranian assets. There was a backchannel to Tehran through Valerie Jarrett, active for 2012 to 2024.""This was after he left office. So it was almost like a shadow government! He also sent pellets of CASH in a plane to Iran.""Now, why would you send money to Iran KNOWING that they are building a nuclear weapon and they are the leading sponsor of terrorism?!"

Absolutely! That's what he campaigned on. No new wars; bringing jobs back to America; draining the Swamp; becoming 100% energy independent; and "making America great again." That's what I voted for. I'm still waiting for the actual delivery.

No he didn't, he campaigned on no "endless" wars.

Even PMSNBC says so.

Um, targeting those things would be a war crime. Trump would lose what little international support he has. Which is why he TACOd two weeks ago, and will TACO again.
Nope. Trump wrote off any NATO support. Asian support looks doubtful as well. However, Trump would not be "losing" support they all would be cheering him on to open Hormuz with the US military.
Nope.
My guess is Xi will make a very big deal about lecturing Trump on the foolishness of war.
He might promise to not give Iran any more weapons.
China has a big stockpile of oil so Xi has no dog in the Iran fight. He doesn't want that "tariff war" thing again. Trump wants the war over, its Iran who wants to keep getting hammered.
Well, he's not going to get regime change. (He isn't even talking about that anymore, he's just talking about them giving up their Uranium.)
The longer the blockade goes on, I don't care how tough the IRGC is, Iran will lose their oil wells. No power, no oil, no bridges. Sounds like a stupid outcome to me. Kohmeini would "drink from the poison chalice" rather than lose everything.
Then they should go back to Europe, where they came from, and stop tormenting the Palestinians.
Simpler for the Js to just nuke Iran and end the discussion.
No, it showed sensible people were willing to use diplomacy to resolve the problem. Trump tore JCPOA up, because his Jew Masters don't want Diplomacy.
WRONG. The JCPOA was a joke. It ended in 10-years, Iran cheated on it, but everyone was blissfully happy that the "diplomats" kept Iran from getting the bomb. As it turns out Iran never stopped enriching uranium. The Trump policy of "no bomb...ever" was the correct policy, it is the only way that guarantees it as enforced by the US military.
Then maybe we should stop screwing with them
You just don't understand terrorists. So blissfully ignorant of real danger.
Iran doesn't need ICBMs do they, unless they want to attack the US, their "Great Satan". You should just do a "City Year", or something and stay out of the national security arena.

Boots on the ground?
The Neocons are claiming that this "war" has been going on for 47 years. Has Iran put "boots" on America's "ground?" Wars can be fought in a number of ways. But Trump said he would not start any wars in the Mideast.

Iran was a threat to the entire world. Even their very own Gulf neighbors told us we should finish them off. I'm actually proud of Trump for putting the world's best interest ahead of his own popularity.

Russia is a "threat to the entire world." China is a "threat to the entire world. North Korea is a "threat to the entire world." Currently, the USA is a "threat to the entire world." Nigeria is a "threat to the entire world."

Let's just have a world war so that ALL threats to mankind (mankind, itself) are totally eliminated.

This one is preventing a world war.

Who told you this?
I think its a stretch to say that the Iran war is preventing WW3.

Iran has no real "allies", just business partners.

But taking nuclear weapons off of Iran lets the world sleep more soundly.

We have a truism, "we Americans all sleep very soundly and peacefully at night knowing that there are very rough men ready to do violence on our behalf to protect us".

Of course, no. It's just more deeply leads us into WW3.

Iran has no real "allies", just business partners.
As if the USA has "real allies".

But taking nuclear weapons off of Iran lets the world sleep more soundly.
No. Unprovoked and illegal attack on a non-nuclear state means that Iran, as well as other countries will be forced to acquire nukes.

We have a truism, "we Americans all sleep very soundly and peacefully at night knowing that there are very rough men ready to do violence on our behalf to protect us".
Actually, all those fights means on another side of planet may cause economic problems, migrations, terroristic acts and even incoming warheads.
