It's a great looking bike...But the V-twin engine will rattle the fillings out of your head
No. It won't. I rode one for years and my teeth felt fine- the only thing that bothered me was having to park it at the end of a ride because I didn't want to get off of it.

If you can afford to get him a Harley, I highly recommend a Road King. They ride nice, can pack a lot of gear, and look good. But, you have to decide if you want to get him a touring bike, or just a regular street cruiser. Me? I recommend the touring bikes, because you can do more with them.

I would be surprised if the is an Indian dealer where Lucy lives.
If not, parts would be very expensive and hard to get. ...

You would be surprised Sunni, of course we have an Indian motorbike dealer, they are not open today or Sunday but open again Monday 9AM and so I think I go and visit them and see the 2020 Indian Scout and of course I will take it for a test ride:

Okay so it is my Papa's birthday very soon, he is going to be 55 years in age and I am thinking of buying him a Harley-Davidson motorbike. I didn't know there were so many models of them until I begin researching them to buy one.

The poll is a Yes or No, also if anyone wants to suggest WHICH Harley-Davidson I should buy for them then feel free to add your advice.

If you love him you won't buy him a harley. Buy him a gold wing so it will last.

Remember Harley's don't leak oil, they mark their territory.

2020 Street Glide

That is a Harley, the Street Glide is made by Harley-Davidson. Well this also is a beautiful bike but not as beautiful as the BMW. What is wrong with the BMW do you think?

Idk what engine BMW is using now. Parts are hard to get here and expensive, but she's right there..
Honda has put a lot of R&D into their engines.
They have it down pretty good.
It was Honda that invented the 4v/cyl engine with the CBX 1000. They were 1st to market with it out of everybody.
THe 6-cylinder CBX 1000 is the predecessor to the Goldwing. Many Honda parts can be interchangeable from bike to bike as well.
I'm still riding my 2nd gen CB 750...People perv on it all the time...Looking to scare up a CB 1000C or the last "naked" Goldwing they made...1200 made in 1984, I think.

The downshot of the Indian is the same as the Harley....The shaky V-twin engine.

Re. The test ride can not be me being General Girl of Action and Danger because Kid F is due the first week of September, I think I will take my older brother with me to do the test ride, if not Mr. Lucy will not be happy if I do the test ride. BUT if I like the Indian Scout and I buy it for Papa then as soon as Kid F arrive the NEXT DAY Papa must allow me to do a massive test ride of the thing :)

So we have cons for all of them, all seem to involve the engines.

What is the engine like of the Road King? We seem to have disagreements on nearly all the bikes so far involving the engines.

Pretty much...I rode a Harley, once....Couldn't get me back on my CB fast enough....Another really smooth runner, though they don't make them in anything but a sport model anymore.
