Zone1 Should college professors be committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in order to be hired by a university?

Your Jewish branch manager would tell me with more plausibility that you were the reason the company went out of business, but he could not fire you because you were a friend of the owner.

I hesitate to call anyone a liar, but you keep inventing these lies about a character I have never known named "Jamal" so I distrust you.
Just listen to how that antisemite speaks: his “Jew bosses.”

He continues to demonstrate my OP: that leftists jump down the throat to scream racist at anything they perceive as unfair to blacks, but simultaneously spew their venom toward Jews. The hypocrisy is unreal, as is their attempts to justify it.

Diversity statements stir campus debate. by

Diversity statements are a new flashpoint on campus, just as the Supreme Court has driven a stake through race-conscious admissions. Nearly half the large universities in America require that job applicants write such statements, part of the rapid growth in DEI programs. Many University of California departments now require that faculty members seeking promotions and tenure also write such statements.

Diversity statements tend to run about a page or so long and ask candidates to describe how they would contribute to campus diversity, often seeking examples of how the faculty member has fostered an inclusive or anti-racist learning environment.

------------

Requiring college professors to be committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity reminds me of the loyalty oaths required of many during the McCarthy Era. They strike me as a violation of academic freedom.

What do you think?

Most of my college professors were very liberal.

No, it's making up for the institutional bias that white privilege gives white people.
You stupid mentally deranged White Guilt pussies are obsessed with giving the Negroes other people's money, aren't you?

If you think that a Negro or queer or whatever have been treated unfairly some way or another then you go give them your money.

They are not entitled to my money simply because confused idiots like you think so.

The Negros would not need "White Privilege" money if they would:

1. Stop committing so many crimes
2. Get off welfare
3. Stop abusing drugs and alcohol
4. Start taking care of their families
5. Stop being the main voting block of Democrats that screw up the economy with failed Leftest policies.

By the way Moon Bat, "White Privilege" is bullshit. It is nothing more than an Liberal's excuse to cover up Black sorriness.

What do you think?

Faculty members should also be required to do what was suggested during the BLM craze by the CEO of a popular restaurant chain: Get on your knees and wash the feet of "certain" students.

Just listen to how that antisemite speaks: his “Jew bosses.”

Um, he was Jewish and he was the boss.
Not sure what your issue here is.

The thing was, he thought his money-grubbing and cheapness were good business practices. Worked fine in a recession, when people were happy to have jobs. When the economy got better, we were going through 2 employees a week.

He continues to demonstrate my OP: that leftists jump down the throat to scream racist at anything they perceive as unfair to blacks, but simultaneously spew their venom toward Jews. The hypocrisy is unreal, as is their attempts to justify it.
No, the problem is that you think your code of ethics, which mostly consists of 'How do we cheat the goyim" is okay. I don't.

I mean, that philosophy works fine until the Goyim get fed up.

I hope you are being facetious.

One of the many things I admire about Jews is that they are usually humble about their superior intelligence and the success and prosperity it enables them to achieve.

As intelligence becomes more important to our economy the wealth and power of Jews and Orientals will increase. I was banned from American Renaissance and other white nationalist websites for drawing attention to that.

White nationalists like to gloat about low test scores of blacks and Hispanics. When I drew attention to high scores for Jews and Orientals they called me a race traitor.

While racists like you are a scourge, the biggest problem isn't the sad bigot who needs to hate black people to feel better about themselves. They rarely accomplish enough to be in positions of power. The bigger problem is the subtle racist. He probably thinks the right things, but at the end of the day, we date, hire, and associate with people who remind us of ourselves.

Going back to the weasel Jewish manager I mentioned. The main reason why he initially gave me a job was because he had served in the Navy during Vietnam, and I had just been discharged from the army. We hire people who we think are like ourselves.
Attributing my low opinion of the Negro race to what you believe about my character is an example of the ad hominem fallacy. You also excel at name calling and the use of obscene words, but you are not good at fact based arguments.

That CEO was not being facetious.

No doubt many liberals would be delighted if professors (and high school teachers in urban schools) would, in fact, wash the feet of certain students in order to apologize for slavery and segregation.

Rich whites try to make working class whites and middle class whites feel guilty bout the plight of blacks. They think that if we feel guilty we will be less likely to be angry about the fact that The rich are getting richer while incomes for us stagnate and decline.

Whites have no reason to apologize to blacks. We have nothing to feel guilty about.

No rich white ever made me feel guilty. I was glad to work for a corporation that compensated me so nicely that I could buy an upscale townhouse, enjoy international travel, and live well.

True. The CEO made $27 million, when you factor in stock options, but when I was sitting out on the veranda of the ship, watching the coast of Italy in the distance, and sipping on a pre-dinner cocktail, I did NOT think “damn.….that CEO is so overpaid!” I just appreciated the opportunities I saw - and took - that landed me in that spot.

We are so proud of you, Lisa.

Exactly!

Back long before Disney went woke I bought Disney stock. When Eisner took over the stock sky rocketed in value and I made quite a bit of money. Enough money to help me retire at an early age.

Eisner made like $200 million in compensation for his success at Disney. The greedy envious Socialists would say that was "unfair".

However, when I cashed in my stock I felt he earned every cent.

Was that a sarcastic, snide remark?

The point is to focus on what you can do to make yourself valuable, work hard, and enjoy a nice life. Looking above and resenting those with more just breeds resentment: “Comparison is the thief of joy.”

Same with me! A billionaire owned a corporation, and he grew it to such a phenomenal level that I, investing in his company, was ALSO able to retire early as the stock continued to increase in value.

I don’t begrudge him a cent of what he made off that corporation. He enabled me and people like me to enrich ourselves as well.

Socialist greed/envy is a severe mental illness.

No well paid CEO has ever made me poorer. However, CEOs have run operations that resulted in shitty products like the Grand Cherokee my wife had that was a lemon but that had nothing to do with his compensation. It was his incompetency.

The thing that has made me poorer is the government. It takes my money and gives it away to other people. The government does really stupid things that result in the economy being screwed up. The government is oppressive to my individual liberty. The government is robbing my chidren and grandchildren of their future.

The government is the problem, not the compensation of corporate CEOs.

You have your reward. Live without my praise.

The stock market is a glorified form of gambling. Stock owners are absentee landlords. The work is done and the wealth is created by the employees of companies.
