The big trouble for Trump will be too find holes in Desantis' conservatives bona fides, and that will be very hard, because Desantis is conservative as they come. He also has been a great Florida governor.

lol it's New Hampshire; the five voters there are just waiting to see which pols spring for the most expensive meals and booze during their tours there.

What makes you think that Desantis even wants to run, much less wants to primary President Trump?

Irrelevant poll as the race won't happen.

Best thing for Trump is to retire and enjoy what years he has left and forget Politics…

That written Trump is going to do his best to burn the GOP to the ground for not supporting his wish to stay as President, so watch for the bloodbath in 2024…
That would be awesome if he burned the R Party to the ground.

Trump won't run. He's posturing, just in case -- but in another year or so he will decide not to run and sell his support to a high bidder... some quid pro quo for his endorsement.

In the meantime, he's evidently enjoying the notoriety and spotlight. Its what he does.

No one knows the DeSantis positions on foreign policy. For all we know he's another Bush.

We know Trump's foreign policy and he was the best in a long time, and that includes The Abraham Accords for which he deserved a Nobel Peace Prize.

He should throw his considerable influence in support of DeSantis and DeSantis would do well to use Trump as an advisor.

I am not too worried that DeSantis would not be prudent and bold, if necessary, in foreign policy matters. I also believe there would be a greater chance DeSantis would garner more votes than Trump and give us a better chance of overcoming all of the DNC machinations to steal another election.

But I very much appreciate all that Trump did or tried to do for Americans, even though his own party and many cabinet members were his enemy as well. Amazing. And you are right, the Abraham Accords was a gigantic accomplishment in the dangerous and contentious Middle East. This brought "normalized relations" between the following Arab nations and Israel --- United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Sudan, Morocco, Oman. It also brought about a peace between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, nothing like this ever seen or come close to, save for the peace agreement between Egypt and Israel in 1978. You think the democrats would have acknowledged the importance or goodness of this? You think the mainstream media would? No. That is because they are enemies of the common good.

1. It is not a shock.

2. The idea that you give a FUCK about Desantis's "conservative bona fides" is laughable.

Yes. It is a shock. Trump won the NH primary easily in both 2016 and 2020.
