Here's a mock-dialogue between Shiva (Hindu god of destruction) and 'Denar' (a hypothetical civilization 'Devil's Advocate' modelled after the Marvel Comics crime-terrorism super-villain Jigsaw).

This dialogue concerns modern ethics pedagoguery concerning the consumerism-iconic video game Mortal Kombat X, or 'MKX' (a graphically-violent combat video game symbolizing new age bravado in modern civilization!).

How can we coordinate old-world values with new-world aethestics? That's a question for the Trump Administration.

Signing off,

SHIVA: The post-MTV generations seek cheap thrills and graphic entertainment!
DENAR: Blame it on computers...a backlash to bureaucratic tedium.
SHIVA: Millions of people staring at smartphone screens or laptops!
DENAR: It's why Starbucks coffee has become the new 'petroleum.'
SHIVA: The combat-land video game MKX is pure violence...
DENAR: Yes, MKX presents hideous warriors (e.g., Reptile) as well as horror-film avatars (e.g., Leatherface).
SHIVA: So now you can spit corrosive acid on your adversary's face or rip him/her up with a chainsaw!
DENAR: Kids today eat that up...
SHIVA: I remember a Western feminist criticizing African pygmy cultures for genital-mutilation rituals.
DENAR: Yes, 'modern Western civilization' has its own 'foolish horrors.'
SHIVA: Remember da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man which forecasted a civilization 'focus' on biological symmetry.
DENAR: Yes, the modern American horror film Friday the 13th: Jason takes Manhattan is 'chaos paranoia.'
SHIVA: The warriors of ancient Sparta would fight without any pants on to expose genitals for pride-in-combat.
DENAR: The Spartans had bravado and worried everyone; today, people are paranoid about Internet viruses.
SHIVA: Americans care about socialized healthcare, so women don't have to do 'homemade-abortions.'
DENAR: Yes, the 'age of the midwife/handmaiden/house-nurse' are over; it's all NASDAQ now...
SHIVA: The film Conan the Barbarian looked at an old world crossroads premonition of decapitating warlords.
DENAR: The film Star Trek: Into Darkness looks at a new world crossroads premonition of doomed IQ.
SHIVA: Maybe the modern civilization 'siren' (Cassandra) warns men of taking fertility for granted...
DENAR: Yes, Cassandra is anxious about what the mermaid-siren logo on Starbucks coffee cups means!
SHIVA: It could mean genetic engineering of babies and the exploitation of women (and fertility).
DENAR: That's why a violent video game like MKX represents 'humanity paranoia' for consumerism.
