Sheehan's Grave STILL Unmarked

ITs not the point, mom. She has to give permission i believe in order for them to place a headstone there. She has not. She is walking talking scum. She cant even honor her son, the person she is supposedly doing all this for.

Yep, I agree. Just thought maybe something could be DONE about it. :dunno:

Took me awhile to find this, knew I read something recently:

There is way, way, way more here
especially about Cindy's blog cries about the military and good samaritan funeral director.

A Grave Marker for Casey

CINDY SHEEHAN responds to “Rovian, heartless, and ignorant” attacks against her character (I can only assume she means me), and attempts to explain why her son has no headstone on his grave: it was the mortuary’s fault – and Bush's, of course.

I will tell the world why Casey has no marker yet. In the first place, does anyone who is attacking me know how Casey was brought home from Iraq? We picked him up in the United loading dock in a cardboard box and he was off-loaded into a hearse without one honor guard. We had to wait for about a half hour on a curb near the United freight area for his one escort, who rode from Dover Air Force Base in a seat, while Casey was treated as an over-sized piece of luggage. Has anybody held her other sobbing children who are sitting on a curb in San Francisco, waiting for the remains of their big brother to be carried over to the dock by a forklift?

Our so-called, illegitimate president has never attended a funeral, nor can families see the pictures of their loved ones as they are hauled like freight with flags on them from an immoral war zone. WE don't see them because Mama Bush doesn't want to "bother her pretty mind" with the images. America doesn't want to be bothered, either. We had a Casualty Officer who abandoned us when our mortuary refused to pay the cemetery and told us that the "government sent the money to the mortuary, so now it is your problem. You may have to sue the mortuary." Our government discards and dishonors its own.

Julie Kay covers both sides of the story for the Vacaville Reporter:

In her blog last week, Sheehan wrote that the mortuary had refused to pay the cemetery as it was supposed to. Steve Nadeau, the mortuary's owner, said Monday that not only did he properly pay the cemetery, but that he subsidized the process with his own money.

And now, for the good news...

In a phone call Monday, Sheehan stood by her allegations. Sheehan also said that Casey's grave site was now being handled by her soon-to-be ex-husband Patrick.

Patrick Sheehan said Monday that the small plaque currently marking Casey's grave is something all graves receive before a headstone is constructed. Casey's headstone is in the works, he said, and is being built by a local monument company.

Rest in peace, soldier.

I have grown to truely hate this woman. What a weak explaination. Not only was the insurance policy, but people like George Soros have been pumping countless dollars inot her media whore tour, but Casey still had no headstone. Her son would be ashamed of her.

It took about six months to get a marker for my Mom after her death.
About three after her internment.

I had to conduct the whole thing from here in Georgia, with internment in Ohio.
She was cremated and there was a family dispute about where she would be interned. The funeral director held the remains while I worked it out.

I solved the placement problem, found a headstone marker company in the area, and wrote the engraved stuff for the marker, all from here at home.

This Woman Cindy, still doesn’t have a marker on her Sons’ grave? She is scum!

Some of that depends on the type of soil in the area. The gravestone company refused to put a marker on my daddy's grave for 6 months, just bc the soil needed time to settle after the burial.

But two years should be long enough for any type of soil.

This woman's not dead yet?

Shit...looks like I gotta go on a little road trip to her next protest.

(If ya'll hear a loud bang and a nice pink mist near where she was standing, just say thanks to me and that'll be enough hehe)

dude, this is just sick and wrong. Why is this womans priorities so messed up?

How can you claim you do all your politicking for your son if you cant even bother giving him a proper resting spot?
