Byrd violated one of the big four basic rules of firearms handling -- the rules I had drummed in at my first shooting lesson.
"Always know what's behind your target" Rule # 4 on this chart.

If the incompetent Byrd had bothered to observe this very simple rule, he'd have seen the very armed cops behind Babbitt.

Doing what? What was her job?Funny...
You don't mention she spend 6 years in the Capital Guardians (Air National Guard Unit for DC to quell civil unrest) and a number of years as a security officer at a nuclear plant.

She was trained to kill, like everyone in the militaryDoing what? What was her job?
COORDINATING! DUH!
She was HR!
She was trained to kill, like everyone in the military
This is great but michael byrd still has to be charged with murder.
Hypothetical question. Let’s say a large angry mob was outside your home trying to break in. They are pounding on the doors and breaking windows. You’re armed in the inside trying to protect your family. If you see one of them pop their head in a broken window and start to crawl through do you think you would be justified to shoot that person?Ah so Byrd knew she was a trained killer and shot Babbitt in self defense without warning? Is that your narrative, Winger?
I've never been a supporter of protesters that thought breaking into the Capital Building was a good idea. That being said...there is ZERO justification for the execution of Ashli Babbitt by Lt. Byrd. To step out of hiding and fire at an unarmed protester at point blank range without warning is a cowardly act perpetrated by the ONLY law enforcement individual present at that riot! To give THAT man a promotion and a raise disgusts me. He should have faced charges.
So why hasn’t he been charged by Trumps AG?He wasn't pardoned by Biden, and since he was never charged, he is fair game at this point.
So why hasn’t he been charged by Trumps AG?

Why does he need that much time and why would he let a murderer be free for even one day when he has the power to get him off the streets? All in good time. He's got 3.75 more years to handle that.
Well yeah, because the whole narrative about Burd unjustly murdering Babbitt is BS. And BS get shut down pretty quickly in court .The last thing that Trump want's is for this civil action or a criminal case to go to court with video, testimony, evidence, etc. - being in the news cycle.
Much better to bury it.

I asked a hypothetical… care to answer or are deflections all you have? She was in HER house, screwy.
Your hypothetical isn't even remotely relevant.I asked a hypothetical… care to answer or are deflections all you have?
We’re seeing the real incompetence of Michael Byrd as the facts come out, replete with screaming leftist judges who are offended by the facts.

BREAKING: Settlement in Principle Reached in Ashli Babbitt Lawsuit — The Young Woman Gunned Down in US Capitol on Jan. 6 - CRAZED BIDEN JUDGE Starts Screaming in Courtroom | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hoft
On Friday, news broke that a settlement in principle was reached in the Ashli Babbitt wrongful death lawsuit brought against the US government by the Babbitt family.www.thegatewaypundit.com
The lawsuit extensively details the history of incompetence and multiple revocations of firearm privileges for previous dangerous incidents involving Officer Michael Byrd, the Capitol Police officer who murdered Babbitt in cold blood.
This includes a failure “to meet or complete semiannual firearms qualification requirements,” leaving a “loaded Glock 22—the same firearm he used to shoot and kill Ashli Babbitt – in a bathroom in the Capitol Visitor Center,” and a shooting into a moving vehicle stolen by teenagers, where the off-duty cop reportedly struck homes nearby with his bullets.
I’ll make it relevant if you answer. Then you can argue the relevance. Deflecting on the start just shows that you’re scared of the point I’m making and want to avoid it.Your hypothetical isn't even remotely relevant.
