Did the cop see any of the violence committed by the mob or did he only see someone trying to break through a window? IOW, you can't excuse his actions by things of which he was not aware.

The killing of Ms. Babbitt was reviewed and deemed a justified shooting. No criminal action pending.
The Administration paid off the family to keep it from going to trial. No civil action pending.
Trump pardoned all the rioters who were responsibile for assisting Ms. Babbitt. No criminal action pending.

#1 He was standing right there when the mob violently broke through the last law enforcement barrier. Not only was he there, there is video of the mob's violence.
#2 He was also on the law enforcement communication radio network and so was also aware of the widespread violence committed by the mob.

I don’t recall incidents of rioters breaking through police barricades right in the faces of those cops… do you?
Considering the vast number of lefty riots and the vast number of public buildings and places occupied or attacked,
I am sure that there were many times that similar instances happened, where the police could have similarly gunned down the LEFTY protestors, and instead coddled them and allowed them to occuppy said public buildings and places.
The fact that you cannot site ONE example, out of HUNDREDS of lefty riots on the same time period, makes my point.
It was reasonable of Babbit to believe that storming and occupying a public building was acceptable "mostly peaceful" protest behavior.
She did not understand that the left, is far more bloody minded and violent, when dealing with the OTHER side, as opposed to their political allies.
Thus, the shit talk from the left, about her "darwining" herself, is just you people shit tlaking to hide the massive injustice of law enforcement, when lefties are in charge.

You made an assertion, that babbit's death was a result of her own stupid attack on a public building, leading to a reasonable use of force by the cop, killing her.
That SOUNDS reasonable, considering that babbit was at teh time, rioting and attacking a public buidling.
So, to show that this was NOT based on her politics but on her rioting activity, I asked you to give an example of cops gunning down, a LEFTY rioters, during the far more numerous and violent lefty riots are that time period.
That reasonable request for a supporting example from you, is not word salad, or an unsupported claim.
You are saying those words, because you are unable to give a supporting example for your claim.
The lack of counter examples, ie lefty rioters being gunned down by police, especially in a dem city, strong supports my point, ie that this was a time of CODDLING RIOTERS, not taking a hard line.

What we DID see was what happened that DAY. Where over and over cops were beaten back by violent rioters and refused to resort to deadly measures to stop them..

But never paid. Becasue time and time against, thousands of times, the lefty police were ordered to coddling the lefty rioters, by lefty dem mayors and chiefs of police.
And hundreds of lefty riots, were instead allowed to rage and kill and destroy.
