Red State! Amen.

CBS is taking-on the FCC. And the complaint is that the FCC abuses its official regulatory authority to suppress freedom of speech.

I have to confess that there is something to be said about the balls of owners of CBS. I see some pretty high stakes poker going on, here.

But, whatever opinion I have about that company (generally I think ill of it), I think the owners have shown some courage in proceeding in this way. For, they are risking their license.

EDIT. I failed to qualify my lingo. I should have added

“ . . . or at least they think they are if they believe their own argument.”

Thirty years ago, I had an abiding respect for CBS--no more. CBS, like their two counterparts ABC and NBC as well as Fox have abandoned objective journalism for becoming mouthpieces for globalist democrats in the US.

Disagreed. Their only ideology is to make money. Everything else is secondary. This is America, not frickin' Canada or the UK.

Yes, you are right in my opinion.

Sure, that's why you're taking issue with a post that exposes their lack of objectivity. SMH
Not objectivity, mostly accuracy in reporting. Because I cannot afford $175 a month on my fixed income, I only have access to Fox News via streaming, and I tend to watch it a lot out of boredom. I often correct their reporting errors via email and have actually been thanked for my assistance. I don't think I could begin to have time to watch CNN for 30 minutes a day and correct all of the errors I find on that network.

Do you have a specific instance of what you consider their lack of objectivity?

If you watch Fox and fail to see it, you wouldn't see it if I spoon-fed it to you. LOL, do you have stock in Fox?

Fox News gets their fair share of criticism from me, but it pales in comparison to any of the leftist tripe put out by MSNOW or the alphabet channels.
I used to watch certain shows......

Not the crazies like Hannity. But I liked Greta and some of the others.

It's just NO INFORMATION IN CONTEXT.

So, you are just going to claim ignorance and let it go! Got you! Epic failed attempt at deflecting again! If all you do is deflect, what are you really Concerned about, American? You won't tell anyone?

I didn't claim ignorance--those are YOUR words and they're just as wrong, opinionated and subjective as the Fox broadcasts that you're ineptly attempting to defend. LOL, indeed, your projection makes you more in tune with the other networks as well.

If that were true, they wouldn't be producing such excretable content.

Not projecting. You failed to back up your assertion.

Unfortunately for Disney and CBS, in court they won't get to set the narrative, edit the script, and cancel anyone who disagrees as they are used to in their licensed stations.

The founders never envisioned that "free speech" would mean for one set of opinions only and neither did Congress when the first authorized the FCC to grant licenses to use the publicly owned airwaves.

George Soros, Roy Singham give hundreds of millions to the Marxist/Democrat party in America. The Democrat party is over represented in the legacy media and NPR. So. you are correct, all they care about is money, money from Marxist/Communist donors, not traditional, objective, journalism.
