Senator Ron Johnson says he will not vote to confirm Trump’s “Big and Beautiful Bill” in the Senate, stating he “couldn’t care less" If Trump upset

F**k.

Why are there so very few of them willing to cut spending and address the deficit?

He’ll come around…Notice he said “in its current form” Just another piggy at the trough positioning for his own pockets.

Nothing ever goes through the Senate without being tweaked.
^^^ and we have the winner. Obviously Ronnie is looking for some PORK. Typical Washington BS.

That's not exactly true. The biggest lie about all of this is that they had to shove it all into one bill. But there's no reason why this bill couldn't be shopped up into single issue bills. They do this so they can lump all the extremely bad stuff into it with a few good things. So if you vote against the bill because it increases spending, then the RINO's will say you voted against something good, like the tax cuts.

It's the same lame game the RINO's and democrats have been playing for decades. They do it because it works. And since the GOP has outlawed fiscal conservatism, it works even better.

I posted basically the same thing in reverse. It's a glass half full or half empty thing.

Apparently it's like 10 years down the road. That's the smoke and mirrors of all this rhetoric. Because there'll be 20 more bills signed into law that changes most of what's in this bill, before the 10yr mark comes.
Just like this bill changes the last omnibus, and increases spending on something that even Trump signed into law.
That's the problem with Democrat tyranny, otherwise they are an opposition party to anything we the people want for this nation (PROVEN), so they lay in wait until they are able to strike again. This has absolutely got to stop or we will be in this devastating loop for the foreseeable future.

If the systematic dismantling of the Democrat party is the only way out, then it has to be done. Right now they are on the edge and floundering bad, and if the Republicans refuse to seize the opportunity to right the ship, then we'll all be in the loop without an out until they sink her.

Well, because the GOP don't actually reduce spending, balance the budget or any of those important spending/debt promises, the democrats will always regain the majority.

If the republican voters would stop electing RINO's like Trump & Mike Johnson, the GOP could return to it's conservative roots. And the democrat would most likely never have the majority ever again.
But as long as those RINO's keep caving to the left, spending well beyond their means, it's inevitable that they'll lose their majority within 2 to 4 years. Just like clockwork.

To start 5% across the board and I'd tell any department head that if they cut one single service their department is supposed to provide, they would be fired.

So you want 'fiscal responsibility' but don't want any 'services' cut? :auiqs.jpg:

Because the spending that was allocated or is hoping to continue to be allocated was scratching thousands of backs in a system that has been run like it has for many many year's now. It's what creates the so called rhino's that go against it's own party regardless of what the people want or truly need. Otherwise the system has a certain level of tolerance for normalized corruption, and that has opened the doorway to every other type of bull chit imaginable to be normalized also.

What can truly turn the ship is not yet realized, but it may have to be realized before the ship goes beneath the waterline.
