Breaking: Big Beautiful Bill Moves To Senate Floor, Poised To Pass - JD On Standby

Chuck Schumer kept talking about how the bill will add to the debt. :auiqs.jpg:

IN HIS CAREER, HOW MANY ******* BILLS HAS CHUCKY SIGNED THAT ADDED TO THE DEBT?

Holy Shit, that was hilarious to watch.

All of a sudden, Amy’s uncle is worried about deficit spending!!

GTFO.
Chuckles doesn't sign bills.

The democrats are getting almost everything they want. Plus a huge increase in spending.
WRONG. The BBB cuts $1.7T off Biden's last budget.

The Freedom Caucus opposes the BBB. Chip Roy said so.
We'll see if arms can be twisted or if the House can unmake the sausage.

Passed the Senate so now on to the House of the Rising Debt for reconciliation. This is where they traditionally add more pork as the manufactured crisis looms. Reducing taxes while increasing spending is the ticket here. Blow the spending out of the water and then congratulate each other, you know the drill.

We were a different society back then.
We are a soft dictatorship now. These Republicans are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory again. Progresses most likely would have singed a few pieces of legislation by now with no one voting against them.

Elections matter:

Medicaid cuts in Trump’s ‘big beautiful bill’ will leave millions uninsured, threaten rural hospitals

  • President Donald Trump’s “big beautiful bill” would make sweeping changes to U.S. health care, leaving millions without health insurance and threatening hospitals.
  • The Senate passed the spending measure after a marathon voting session on amendments, but the bill faces another major test in the House.
  • Recent changes to the bill would cut roughly $1.1 trillion in health-care spending and result in 11.8 million people losing health insurance over the next decade, according to estimates from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Bill passes 51-50.

Ironically, that is police code for a crazy person being held for 72 hours for observation.

You article is laced with "ifs" and "coulds" - and these "ifs" or "coulds" could happen by 2034?

And then buried deep in the article, it highlightgs the lion share of the cuts actually comes from work requirements for medicaid. So, the issue you all have is requring people that can work, to at least attempt to find a job? Well, glad we know where you all stand on the issue of welfare.

Just when you think they're going to do the right thing.......

And that's exactly what they did. As if there wasn't enough "swamp food" in it already.

No, the drill is grow the GDP through the roof, which combined with tariff revenue will shrink the deficit and debt.

But hey, why not bet against Trump - after all he's proven wrong every ******* time.

Here Lies Conventional Wisdom RIP, 2001-2024.

Interesting.

Now...

Do you care to say anything accurate?

I am no expert on Medicaid, but I know an elderly person who is 87, and their Social Security only pays them about $1500/month, and their assisted living facility costs them $5000/month. I believe Medicaid then kicks in to cover the rest.
So then what are you going to do with these people who are going to get kicked out of their assisted living facilities?

Tariffs never generate revenue.
They are only good as a threat to make others stop abusing tariffs of their own.
If we raise tariffs, then our goods will be equally tariffed.
The US does not make anything special that can't be purchased elsewhere.
So if you raise the price of US goods with retaliatory tariffs, we won't be able to export anything any more.
That is what happened in 1920 and caused the Great Depression.
It was all caused by tariff wars.

None of that will happen.

This person will be guaranteed to continue receiving benefits because we're kicking off able bodied people with children 15 or older who won't work at least 20 hours a week and are ripping off the system.

That's it.

And you're an imbecile, BTW.
