I know. Before the holidays, Moscow Mitch (stating that he wasn't going to be an impartial juror) was going to spike this with a quick acquittal. If he had gotten the articles before Christmas, it would already be over. But Nancy Pelosi said no way and held them. Face it, she's looking like a tactical genius right now. All the information that has come out in the last few weeks, Republican senators (especially those up for re-election) are now on the hot seat. The moderates are pushing for witnesses and a more detailed trial. They know if this looks like a whitewash, it could be a bloodbath for them come election time.
