The Secret Service has been stretched rather thin since the days of Obama! His "death threats" were quadrupled compared to other Presidents! It proved half the country wasn't ready for a Black man to lead the country! The SS were caught being more than a little incompetent; drunk and driving into posts outside the White House, allowing someone on Obama's elevator w/ him carrying a knife, & of course the most egregious, haggling w/ a hooker in Colombia as they were preparing for a visit by the President! It doesn’t matter what he said in the press conference he was never on the ballot in more than half the states in the union. He can’t just decide to leave his name on the ballot if he’s not running.

These are not decisions Kennedy makes. Few states have started printing their ballots, and they’re not going to be putting the name of a man who is already withdrawn from the race, on those ballots.

He has made a public announcement that he has suspended his candidacy, and he is therefore not a candidate for president. He doesn’t get Secret Service protection unless he’s actually running for president.

His name will be on several state ballots as he has already qualified to be on them, stupid.
