Secret Service director sites “safety” concerns of sloped roof as reason it wasn’t covered

So Kimberly Cheatle, the incompetent woman in charge of the most elite security detail in the world, says that the rooftop the gunman was on was looked at, but for safety reasons didn’t want law enforcement on the roof.

And yet with all that experience she allows the presumptive president-elect to be shot at just over a hundred yards. She is the executive in charge; everything good or bad that happens under her is her responsibility. Any self-respecting person would insist on resigning.
Not just her, but the agent in-charge of the Butler Security Plan.

I'd also give the agents in the loop a polygraph test to see who knew what.

It's my understanding that the Secret Service was in charge of the interior perimeter of the rally and that the local police were in charge of the exterior perimeter. Whoever was in charge of planning the security for the event (we're talking the Secret Service) needs to answer for why buildings surrounding the perimeter of the event didn't have a security detail on the roofs. If it was included in the plan, then the local police need to answer AND the Secret Service need to answer for why it slipped the checklist before the event began.
Answer via polygraph.

The roof looks equivalent to maybe a 3/12 pitch. Easy as hell to walk on.
If the metal was wet, then those suckers can get slippery, but still a poor excuse.
Those of us in construction, laugh at the absurdity of that roof being too dangerous.

1. The roof pitch is a moronic excuse
2. We need the gents in-charge questioned via polygraph
3. That roof being open was no small security miss, that was an obvious setup

Girls don’t like climbing up on roofs
They know very little about it with almost no experience to boot

Ultimately it’s Trump’s fault, right? The whole thing was probably orchestrated by Putin.

Seriously, from what I’ve heard (sorry no citation) is that the local police are saying the SS are lying about the duties assigned to local police.

The top local cop said on TV that the buildings were NOT the responsibility of the local police, period.
