So Kimberly Cheatle, the incompetent woman in charge of the most elite security detail in the world, says that the rooftop the gunman was on was looked at, but for safety reasons didn’t want law enforcement on the roof.

Kimberly Cheatle has held significant positions in various organizations, including:

1. Senior Director in Global Security at PepsiCo, where she directed and implemented security protocols for the company's facilities in North America, developing risk management assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

2. Distinguished 27-year career in the U.S. Secret Service, where she held various leadership positions, including Assistant Director of the Office of Protective Operations and Special Agent In Charge of the Secret Service's Atlanta Field Office.

These roles demonstrate Cheatle's extensive experience in security management, risk mitigation strategies, and leadership, making her a suitable candidate for her subsequent role as the director of the United States Secret Service.

==> It seems to me Cheatle knows nothing about security management or risk mitigation strategies. If I were her, I would resign. Crystal clear? :)

With all that experience one would think she would not leave that roof unguarded.

Most of us here are laughing at the woman’s excuse

But her bs is not aimed at us

This seemingly stupid excuse is for the usual lib suspects like those posting here

They need a lifeline, and she’s offering one to them

There are photos of other, Fed snipers (her assets) sitting on sloped roofs. I call bullshit on the sloped roof 'concerns' as to why no one was stationed on that roof.

And she’s still a moron who failed miserably.

And yet with all that experience she allows the presumptive president-elect to be shot at just over a hundred yards. She is the executive in charge; everything good or bad that happens under her is her responsibility. Any self-respecting person would insist on resigning.

"Secure the building from inside"?

This woman has shit for brains.

She shouldn't even be in charge of a circus, much less presidential security.

Are we still assuming this was incompetence and not something darker?

Because really

They went from trying to spin the thread into a fauci thread to a 9/11 thread.

That's why I asked earlier why they always do that.

AyeCantSeeYou why do you think they always do that?
There could be any number of reasons for why people derail threads. It could be they have no attention span, they want to discuss something else and don't think anything is wrong with interrupting a thread on a completely different topic, they don't want to hear the truth, they aren't capable of forming their own opinion, they say things just to get reactions from others (attention whores), etc etc etc.

Did Trump fire Fauci?

The unaccounted for incompetence has been a part of government for decades.
Fauci has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this thread and even though you are using him as a comparison, Covid does not equate to an assassination attempt. Consider yourself thread banned for derailing the thread.

One thing I haven’t heard is why they put two snipers side by side.
Combat 101: flank your target. Those snipers should have been 90-120 degrees apart. That gives you good visibility if one view is blocked from an area. And if shooting starts you’ve now got a kill zone and your target can’t hide behind someone or something.
Snipers typically are a team. One is a spotter, the other is on the trigger.

It's my understanding that the Secret Service was in charge of the interior perimeter of the rally and that the local police were in charge of the exterior perimeter. Whoever was in charge of planning the security for the event (we're talking the Secret Service) needs to answer for why buildings surrounding the perimeter of the event didn't have a security detail on the roofs. If it was included in the plan, then the local police need to answer AND the Secret Service need to answer for why it slipped the checklist before the event began.
