I simply want to know how many have died BECAUSE of the virus. I want that number isolated from the number of people who have died for one reason or another who also happen to be infected with the virus. I need these stats isolated from each other so I can see past politically manipulated statistics.

I like the cdc data the best so far, but there are still some problems with how the data is presented. As seen in post 4, an unknown portion of the total is "presumed" to be because of the coronavirus, which means there is room for whoever provides the data to manipulate it. In today's political climate, I would not put it past the cdc to manipulate the data to make it fit political agenda.
