Darn, 91% thus far out of 30.5K+ votes cast.

You would be very hard pressed asking 35.50K people if water was wet and get 91%!

A birth certificate is usually sufficient. It has been that way forever. Why do you ask?

I provided a birth certificate when I registered to vote. I got a voters registration card when I did.

The question then is "should people have to jump through additional hoops to vote to appease a poor loser"?

Thats good, just make sure it wasn't printed up in a garage by their uncle who just got out of prison.

This would be obviated by a national identity card that showed citizenship status. The it could be used for employment too.
