Sean Hanity sums it up

I have to admit, watching Hannity last night bought a smile to my face. I love the whining. But the love for a corrupt, incompetent grifter who made all of this own problems is just mind boggling.
You'd think they'd just cut ties with him and be done with it...but....they know that the guy still commands 90% plus popularity in the Republican party. Which makes it all the better. They're stuck with
each other.

If Trump does not take those boxes of documents, the raid doesn't happen.
So..it begs the question, Why did he remove those documents?

Maybe for the same reason Obama removed every document related to his administration after leaving office.

Uh, guy, as much as they are squealing, Republicans are probably secretly happy Trump is being taken off the board.

All of those are federal documents, and property of the government.

The question is, why did Trump feel a need to retain these documents? And what else did he retain that he shouldn't have.
Trump isnt being taken off the board. You democrats just gave him a Monopoly on Boardwalk and Empire! You are a fool if you think he spends a day in jail for possessing classified documents, even if they caught him red handed with a 1,000 boxes full of classified stuff. This was an epic blunder by your side. You just galvanized his base and pretty much guaranteed his election win in 2024.

Why the fuck did you guys make a martyr out of him? Every single thing that democrats do these days blows up in their face. :cuckoo:

Actually, the walls are closing in on Trump. Not only did he get caught with classified documents, Congress can now see his shady tax returns.

Also, there is no "Empire" on a Monopoly board.

I doubt he'll ever go to jail, but I'll be happy if he is barred from ever holding public office.

He SHOULD got to jail for what he did on January 6th.

He wont be barred from holding office. He wont even be charged with a crime. Im sure you will strongly disagree, but you would be wrong. Trump wont be charged , EVEN if he is found with an entire room full of classified documents, and anyone who thinks otherwise isnt very well read on this subject.

Wow, it's fun to watch the Doomsday Cult drink the koolaid.

The same people who spent 70 million dollars proving Bill Clinton lied about getting a blow job are the ones whining that Trump is getting a bad deal for walking off with FIFTEEN BOXES of sensitive documents.
geez, and now they got this act of liberal democracy down in Fla....can you imagine what they will be like if they win big in november joe? Since there is no statute of limitations on murder they may want to reopen Chappaquiddick . :hhello: :stir::scared1:

Liar.
Those 15 boxes are Trump's property, not classified documents.
Liar.

What is the Presidential Records Act?

  • After former President Nixon refused to hand over White House records during the Watergate scandal, Congress in 1978 passed a law requiring presidents to preserve all historically relevant materials.
  • "The United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records," the law says.
  • The National Archives and Record Administration (NARA), which oversees the process, sifts through the documents to determine which can be made public and which should be redacted based a number of factors, including but not limited to "the interest of national defense or foreign policy" and relating to appointments to federal office, trade secrets and commercial or financial information.
  • A president can only destroy a document if they receive permission from the Archives to do so.

The advantage liberals have over conservatives when it comes to having the facts on our side is that you folks believe inveterate liars like Hannity. Someone who works for a cable station with a business model designed to misinform its audience for profit.

All of those records should have been handed over to the National Archives directly from the White House once Trump left office in January 2021, as required by the Presidential Records Act, the agency noted.

That law “mandates that all Presidential records must be properly preserved by each Administration so that a complete set of Presidential records is transferred to the National Archives at the end of the Administration,” U.S. Archivist David Ferriero said in the statement.

What do you think the punishment for such a crime would be? Take a guess. What do you think think the worst punishment he could possibly get for this crime? 10 years in prison? 20 years in prison?

If you want to know the truth, even if they found him with a metric ton of classified documents, he would never spend a day in jail. Its actually just misdemeanor. Seriously, no bullshit. Im as shocked by that fact as you probably are.

The penalties for the unlawful or accidental removal, defacing, alteration, or destruction of Federal records or the attempt to do so, include a fine, imprisonment, or both (18 U.S.C. 641 and 2071).

People don't get sent to prison for a misdemeanor.

Or even if he shoots someone on 5th Avenue.
