Rick Perry, as much as I disagreed with his relgious- and good old boy- and anti-education biased polices, was an effective governor in Texas. Scott Walker did as well in Wisconsin.

But Scott, like Rick, does not have what it takes to be effective on the national stage.

He is getting it from the left and the right and his own people and the media.

Scott Walker is doing just fine despite the lying left. The aide didn't resign. The aide said some very nasty things about the people of Iowa and was fired. As she should have been. Iowans took note. Walker's support has only grown.

You can tell how good a President someone will be, by measuring:

1.) How loudly and hysterically liberals scream at him;
2.) How many lies they gin up about him;
3.) and how little evidence they present to back up what they say about him.

By the Lib-o-meter of this thread, it looks like Scott Walker is the best candidate Republicans have fielded in a long time.

Someone will have to explain to me the thinking behind JakeStarkey's rather amusing claims to be a Republican when all he's ever done while posting here is to attack the GOP.

So either Jake is a liar...

Or he's really not that bright since he's a member of a party that advocates little or nothing that he believes in...

I don't think Walker has the ability any more than Perry. Bush does and so does Paul in my opinion.

The evidence shows right and left and center are shouting at him. Tough to a losing far right homer like you, but there you have it.

May not but the irrelevant asshole far right is not going to dictate the candidate they wish.

Poll: Support For Hillary Clinton As President Among DEMOCRATS Tanks 15 Points To Just 45%…
image4388392.jpg

Remember when the left was claiming Hillary had a White House win locked up in 2016? Yeah, not hearing that so much these days.

(Reuters) – Democratic support for Hillary Clinton’s expected presidential campaign is softening amid controversy over her use of personal email when secretary of state, but most Democrats are for now sticking by their party’s presumed candidate.

Support for Clinton’s candidacy has dropped about 15 percentage points since mid February among Democrats, with as few as 45 percent saying they would support her in the last week, according to a Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll. Support from Democrats likely to vote in the party nominating contests has dropped only slightly less, to a low in the mid-50s over the same period.

Even Democrats who said they were not personally swayed one way or another by the email flap said that Clinton could fare worse because of it, if and when she launches her presidential campaign, a separate Reuters/Ipsos poll showed.

Democratic strategist Ben LaBolt, a former spokesman for President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign, said that the email controversy has been a “galvanizing call for the Clinton campaign-in-waiting to build an organization,” by hiring top political communicators who can defend her record. Clinton, who ran for the White House in 2008 and lost to Obama, is expected to announce as early as April that she plans to seek the White House in 2016.

Walker's new book "Uninitiated" is due to hit the street as the 2016 Presidential campaign begins to heat up. In the book the Governor defines himself as a rogue charmer, thus the name:"Unintimidated" . In fact, Walker, left Marquette for reasons unknown without a degree, and is the ghost author of the work with no college education. The book was not written by Walker, but the former speech writer for George W. Bush Marc Thiessen.

It is likely that Scott Walker will not be "intimidated" so much as "unglued" when all of the John Doe documents, love child allegations, and countless crony job appointments and grant awards come to the surface with a real and tough vetting of his political and personal workings most foul.

Jake's support for her hasn't wavered
