If there were still republicans like McCain I would vote for them. In the Midwest we still have decent Democrats who will not support the depravity on the coasts and the great lakes. (must be something about all that water that screws up the brain). I like them on our school boards and such, they won't stand for the teaching of gender bending in our schools. I stated when I came to this board that I was a centrist democrat, I support Manchin and Senima on most of what they are doing to block the deviants and the socialists. In fact if the near center dems and near center repubs would join forces to create a moderate common sense party, I would donate, walk precincts and do what ever else was needed to help them win, because I think there are more of us in this country than there are on the extremes of either party.

Not voting for my state or national offices until I have someone I like or respect is not giving either party a vote.

I agree, though in a few cities, their systems have not been properly maintained. I use a charcoal filter on my kitchen tap because of the taste from my city supply, but use it unfiltered for everything else. When traveling, I will buy a bottle of water because I don't know who has had their mouth on the bubbler of a water fountain or the last time its was cleaned.

Other than the rare exception, you are 100% correct, tap water must meet standards that are far stricter than what is allowed into bottles. If you read some labels the water is collected unfiltered from municipal supplies and put directly into "bottled water". What a racket.
