I'm very glad to see the democrats on the Jan 6th committee aren't going to take the garbage from trump and his cohorts anymore in regard to the subpoenas.

What is there to subpoena? You impeached a president based in what you say you think you knew 9 months ago and have been prosecuting a number of the participants. So what can be left to learn about two hours?

The most important part to expound on now is how the rogue and callous handling of the 2020 election contributed to the anger which DROVE the 1/6 riot, and you won't find out about that from Bannon, and we all know the democrats are incapable of legitimately investigating themselves, which makes the entire 1/6 committee another BIG FARCE, like everything government and especially democrats do.

Well, the courts have to rule on Trump's assertion of executive privilege. And they won't before the 24 elections. These guys may see the inside of a cell for awhile, but I can't really see courts not letting them out until the issue is decided.

Any jail time would end when the current Congress ends.

And there is a long way to go to get any prosecution. Then there are appeals.

Bannon and others in Trump's camp will tell the committee to go fuck themselves, and, basically, they will be forced to do just that. Congress has the power to issue subpoenas, and every citizen has the right to challenge them. These demands are bullshit.

There is no investigation. There are no secrets. A bunch of pissed-off Trump supporters got out of hand. I wish I had been there to break a little glass myself.

The sole and exclusive reason for this "investigation" is to try to embarrass some Republicans in the run-up to the 2022 Congressional elections, because the Democrats know they are facing a blood bath.

My assessment of Schiff is from his statements made during press conferences and his demeanor and dialogue used during governmental proceedings. Even though Schiff is not one of my state's reps, I hold him accountable as I do all other representatives for their actions and words.

The hostility was noted while Schiff grilled Mueller. Schiff has a personality defect to feel the need to look "superior".

Nobody should profit from being a steward of the nation. One thing I don't respect is any governmental official, either "side", who makes money using his or her official position to do so. The voters didn't vote him in to write books, but he's quite good at using his office to make money and has for years. The good news is while writing his impeachment book, he's not had time to do much politicizing publicly. I have zero respect for Schiff.

Those who try to defy a legal subpoena will find themselves being prosecuted by the DOJ.

bannon wasn't a part of the trump administration when the insurrection happened. He had left the White House years before it happened so there's no way executive privilege can apply with him.

There is no longer a DOJ who will tolerate trump people defying a legal subpoena.

bannon and the other three could find themselves prosecuted and put in prison if they continue to snub their noses at our legal system.

Personally, I would love to see bannon sitting in prison. He better hope he doesn't have any cellmates and can avoid spending any time with the general population of that prison.
