"5:00 PM: The European Union’s naval presence in the Red Sea, Persian Gulf, and Indian Ocean area will be “reinforced” with additional ships, the bloc’s top diplomat Kaja Kallas said, according to Le Figaro. The additional ships will be added to the ranks of Operation Aspides, which was launched in 2024 in response to Houthi terror attacks on shipping vessels in the region.
