Personally...I find her refreshing. That's one good reason the left hates her so. Their willingness to forgive complete lack of experience in a politician of miniscule resume versus a state governor of quick and major accomplishments says it all.

The left don't hate her. I don't know why everyone on the right keeps saying this. The left may be mildly fascinated by her, like a train wreck, but why would the left hate her?

The left may have been afraid during the campaign (which is different than hating) - but it was because she embodied everything that Bush was, only worse. Less well educated, less experience, less willing to take advice, possibly crazier religiously, more extreme on hot button topics. The idea that the public could elect a worse version of Bush is frightening.

I think some people on the right understand this.

Quite a few people seem to think they know a lot about Palin, good or bad. I don't know her, so I think of her as I do any politician; she's a liar, a cheat, and out for personal power It's cynical, but I find it easier to assume the worst of politicians and hope they prove me wrong.

Only hatred explains the vicious expenditure of energy and emotions against Palin by the left. You may not feel that emotion, and if not good for you; you must be a grown up or at least emotionally healthy. But if she was only a loser and a train wreck, then let it be, because the losers in her popularity will be her supporters which does not include you or anyone from the left.

Of course, Palin seems to be claiming that, because her enemies are so unscrupulous, there would no doubt have been more complaints soon. And maybe there would have been. But it seems likely that any future frivolous charges would have been dealt with as quickly as those in the past.

The notion that this barrage of complaints was preventing her from doing her job just doesn't seem to hold up.
