Zone1 Sabbath rest.

When I was a kid, almost all of America was closed for business on Sundays. (Our relatively few Jewish neighbors closed their businesses on Saturday.) Sunday School and Church was the norm followed by a special Sunday dinner which was fairly soon after Church rather than in the evening.

But it did seem the whole world became quiet that day. We kids played per usual but in my distant memory even our play was more subdued.

There are aspects of all that I miss.

Saturday.

I'll cook food today and rely on snacks, yogurt, fruit, etc.

It is hard for me to lay off of the internet, however. Not working, or using the businesses of those who work on Sunday, has been quite an adjustment for me. I still want to do my laundry on Sunday.

I'll leave now and do my shopping.

I remember those days. About the only businesses that were open were a few gas stations and drug stores. It was peaceful.

was that friday not to eat meat and they will likewise burn if they work on sunday and to bring people into their store a double burn for both ...

when those same prophetiers belittle the havoc wrought on garden earth the true heavenly request being broken claim that is their own decision to make and no one else's to interfere with their own religion.
