On the other hand, they are free to chose to live on the streets, we can’t lock them up in asylums against their will like the Russian government can. I think our veterans deserve far better than they ever have after wars. However, it’s not a problem restricted to the USA. Read some Kipling sometimes, it seems to be a universal problem throughout history.
