As an old Cold Warrior I understand the various strengths and weaknesses of the T62s, T72s, T80s and T90s... but this T14 is entirely new to me.

Perhaps some of you younger veterans have insights/experience/training against a T14...

This tanks development shows how sanctions can backfire. Due to them Russia has been forced to develop and produce this weapon entirely in house. Which means they've grown almost entirely self sufficient. Which makes sanctions next to meaningless in a wartime scenario.

They have always been able to build their own tanks. The luck the US has had with the M1 being upgradable all these years forced them to go away from the T-72/80/90 family and try to leap over the US.
