RU watching the Knicks game? WTF?

Pacers were dead in the water with 4 minutes left and now it's O.T.! Crazy
It's on Brunson. When he came back in the game he played ISO ball almost exclusively. The Pacers double teamed him on the attempted switches and instead of passing out of that (which is what you are supposed to do) he channeled Kobe Bryant and tried to dribble his way out giving up TO's, and bad shots allowing the Pacers back into the game.

Listen. This is 100% from the heart. I haven't been watching OKC all year. Until recently, I kept asking myself "are they really as good as their record?" and so they got through the first round, past Denver, now it seems they are going to EASILY beat Minnesota in 4 or 5 games.

This isn't something I heard. The Knicks seem to play a very sloppy form of basketball. And they don't have a deep bench. Yes they have enough studs that IF they won it all, I'd give all those studs credit. But you wait and see. IF NY makes it to the finals, it's going to be a sweep. BET

Indiana would take 5 games to get knocked out. They MIGHT win one at home.

Don't worry, when it's all over, I'll be back to comment on what I just predicted. Right or wrong. I think it's funny when I don't even get it close to right.

Every year it seems most people expect the Western team to be the better team. I always love it when the East wins. Like my 3 Piston Championship teams I got to see in my lifetime. We were only favored 1 of the 3 years. Probably the 90/91 season when we repeated.
Unless SGA stops getting gifted all those foul calls. For whatever reason the refs are letting everyone else "play" and bailing SGA out with fouls. OKC is really good, Im not sold they can beat the Pacers.

I wondered about why he was dribbling near half court with 2 guys on him.

He got lucky in OT on that wild bounce "pass" his team managed to pick up. Walt Frazier "congratulated him. Probably trying to hit off INDY player.

It's not Brunson's job to challenge 3 point shots especially when it was ONE GUY who was hot as a firecracker. I don't see how you hang that loss on him, he scored 43 points getting the crap beat out of him the whole game.

Because he insisted on playing ISO hero ball when he should have passed out of the double team. That's what allowed the Pacers back in the game. The Knicks were up 9 with less than a minute to play, if they score 2's the Pacers cant catch up. Brunson’s job as PG and best player has to know that and play team basketball. Team basketball is what got them up 16 while Brunson was on the bench with 4 fouls.

That's a good point, I did think it was a bad decision to break the mojo they had going with Brunson out. Heck give him as much rest as possible, if they get with 10 then bring him back in. But again, what killed them was their complete failure to even contest Nesmith's shots.

The Knicks blew a lot of plays in late game. Inbounding mixup in OT? 1 up to 1 down with one shot left?

Today I hear maddog and Torre both saying the refs a big cause? Huh? Mentioned the non-goaltending call.

Pacers were better late. Plain & simple. Haliburton right. Knicks choked G1 away. Could have ran clock or got to FT line up 17 perhaps? You can't lose that game at home.

I will say the ref calls are "different". An Offense guy is dribbling baseline then just plows into Townes (who was tracking along with arms up) and they call foul on Townes? Huh?

That call has been happening in every game more than I ever remember? Maybe the refs got it right up close? But? Where is defense supposed to move to? Not in past days?

Craziest playoff game ever. Knicks could have been gassed too, not rotating as much. I'm usually all over bad calls late but I don't see that as the factor in the collapse. As a coach if you see a guy hit 2 quick threes you MUST focus your defense on that guy.

IF a person was fairly confident in MINN to Win or cover, you can bet along with both OVER or UNDER and get winnings no matter the score.

Bet $10 MINN to win + over 213.5 (win $47) + under 213.5 (win $80). Less $10 bet lost.

I have been doing more of that bet lately. Better than +110 or -110 out the door.

Those odds move also, say OKC runs out 13-2....MINN odds get higher.

Can they cover tonight? Last night I had INDY +3.5 OVER. If Under take Knicks.

Good luck, I think I would take MINN with the points. Maybe Edwards will be extra motivated watching SGA receive the MVP before game time.

I don't bet enough to matter much but if you were betting hundreds and your team came in. Win $800 or Win $470 (-$100 lost) is the idea.

Of course lose $200 if MINN crashes. So far I've only taken the Under + MINN as they are heading into the 40s 1st QTR maybe? Soon as I type that, quick 3 from MINN. Sigh.

They did miss a clear goal tend late in the game I can’t remember how much time was left. Ball hit the backboard then Indy defender hit the ball. It was close. Refs should have called the goaltend then reviewed it to be sure. Not calling it was a mistake as they then can’t review.

Nesmith made 6 straight 3s in the final 5 minutes and you are talking about minutia.

15th post
You see it your way I see it my way. They should never have been at a one basket margin at the end of that game.
Irrelevant. A missed goal tend at the end of a game that ends tied is hardly minutia.

MINN letting me down again +6.5. I took a shot because good odds. Uh, now I know why odds were high. Duh.
