Romney is Biff from Back to the Future.
Even if true, this is a non-story about a harmless prank. Having grown up in the same generation, the thought that the "victim" might have been homosexual would have been totally off the radar screen of the boys doing it. They were making fun of a kid who bleached his hair blonde - absolutely normal stuff for the time.
And keep in mind, the ultimate result of the prank was that the kid would have been forced to get a short haircut - maybe even a crew cut, WHICH WAS FASHIONABLE FOR H.S. BOYS AT THE TIME. This was still before the Beatles introduced (relatively) long hair to the culture, and probably ten years before long hair would have made its way to a prep school such as this one.
This non-story says a lot more about the Non-FOX media than it does about an adolescent Mitt Romney.

C H A R A C T E R; It's not for Republicans any more.
The denigration of President Obama by Republicans, conservatves and bigots began well before he took the oath of office and continues unabated by unabashed partisans and abject ignoramuses ad nauseam.
It's obvious to anyone of even average intelligence and not willfully ignorant that Romney engaged in some sort of hazing or abusing of a fellow student while Romney was in high school. He claims he does not remember any such incident, yet apologizes for anyone he hurt during his formative years.
I graduated from high school in 1965 and I remember with great clarity events less disturbing than an attack by several on one person. In fact I recall a somewhat silly sort of hazing in which several of us 'teased', actually chased, another classmate when were in the 4th or 5th grade.
Romney is a teflon coated chameleon and unless properly vetted no one can know what he is or will become if elected as the most powerful man on the planet. What we can expect, and what I fear, is that a Romney Administration will be dominated by those who brought us the fiasco in Iraq and cosied up to the social conservatives (the American iteration of the Taliban, IMO).

Why? Arianna Huffington is the editor in chief of the Huffington Post, which is a media group, not a blog, and listed as one of Time Magazine's most influential people in the world for 2011.

Personally, I'm tired of seeing legitimate news sources dismissed because they have a leftist perspective. I'm REALLY sick of it happening from people who share that perspective, as if the roar from the knuckle dragging right would somehow be tamed if we didn't bring up publications they disproved of.
pussies.
We don't GET that much ink to begin with, and the active participation in the discreditization of the very avenues that are friendly to progressive causes is the dumbest and most short-sighted thing I've seen from the left.
Not that it's new, but you'd think that by now we'd have grown a set.
The annual White House CorrespondentÂ’s Dinner gives the president a chance to turn the tables and roast the reporters tasked with covering the Oval Office day-in and day-out. This year, the president took a playful jab at The Huffington Post, which recently became the first online-only news publication to win a Pulitzer Prize.
“I’d be remiss if I didn’t congratulate The Huffington Post on their Pulitzer Prize,” said President Obama. “You deserve it, Arianna. There’s no one else out there linking to the kinds of hard-hitting journalism that HuffPo is linking to every single day.”
“And you don’t pay them,” added Obama. “That’s a great business model.”

She is REALLY pissed at Obama after what he said at the Correspondents Dinner.

We know the event was fabricated. as the scum of the DNC are so well known for. democrats have zero integrity and simply fabricate items to attack the opposition. The Little Goebbels of the Washington Post are following in the footsteps of Dan Rather and providing counterfeit evidence in order to libel the hated opposition.
.
No, actually, we don't.
What we KNOW is that four eye witnesses say it went down as described.
We KNOW that Reversible Mittens claims he doesn't remember the incident (but he KNOWS he doesn't think the guy was gay and he's sorry anyway). That's what we KNOW.

Gee, it's too bad everybody made an erroneous assumption about this article, based on me posting it.

I reject his ideas that "boys will be boys," and that someone who belonged to and led groups in college could in no way be considered an "antisocial bully." The man clearly never met the captain of any cheer leading squad, and he must have been kept out of the loop regarding the damage that letting certain social classes (jocks) to have free reign to "learn their lessons" themselves has had on the children they've inflicted those learning opportunities ON.
But did Romney cut John Lauber’s hair? I have no personal knowledge of the incident; in fact, I can’t even remember John. But when men like Mitt’s classmates, Tom Buford and Matt Friedemann, say publicly that it happened, then it happened. “Kraut,” as we affectionately called Friedemann (note to reporters: pronounce his name with three syllables, the second “e” being the “uh” sound) in those pre-political correctness days, was the prefect on my hall, and very kind to this freshman. I knew Tom, another prefect, too (Big Del’s Algebra II class, maybe?). I’d trust those two any day.
