No sorry, I have no spiritual connection to past me's, but if you know where I can get a dragon to ride :D

I do not have it, but know a few people that do.

I assume you have wireless internet!

Your wireless internet should be wireless N or above to get the best quality.

They site recommends for standard 1080p HD, 6Mbps is suggested. (however may not work due your location from the node)

If you have a 4K TV and want the best picture quality then you will need wireless 802.11ac ..

If you have DSL below 20 mbs, you may not get HD quality pictures..

Those that had DSL or below 20 mbs download, were dissatisfied with the streaming, those that had above 20 mbs download speeds said it was great..

I have a box. It is just fine. No problems out of it for years.
The Netflix and hulu aps are better on my xbox, but the roku gets the job done. Especially for like 60 bucks lol.

I have the streaming stick and it works very well. You don't need wifi if you can connect directly to a HDMI port on the TV, which is always better. I did buy the Roku 3 but took it back. The difference is speed was not significant, it only took the stick a few seconds longer to load. But they format of the menu wasn't adjustable and the 3 had so much shit on it I couldn't read the text. A really stupid move on their part.

I have an android box too and watch most stuff through Kodi. You can install Netfix, Hulu, amazon, etc also but the Roku runs better, I'm not sure what magic they employ but I'm sure their R&D is better enabled that a bunch of volunteer efforts.

I have been using Roku for awhile now. It is extremely easy to set up.

Plug in the power

Connect HDMI cable from box to TV

Follow instructions on TV to connect to your WiFi signal

Boom, you are done

There is a ton of cool stuff on there (no porn, though). Of course, you will have to subscribe to Netflix and some other services, like Hulu. I use Netflix and Amazon more than anything else. The best selection in terms of number of available titles is Amazon.

There are some decent freebe apps too, like Crackle. They throw in a few commercials but nothing like network TV. It's insane to watch 5 minutes of a show then 5 minutes of a commercial. People are fast joining the cord cutter crowd. I took my dish to the dump.

I don't have it yet. I have the equipment for Roku but the internet comes this weekend.

we have it...its easy.....wifi is all you need and a tv.....i like it....you never have to worry about watching something...you do it when you want to.....hulu has shows the day after.....expect for spike shows like ink masters...its on a 3 week delay....which sucks..and you just have to add the free channels and explore.....doesnt take any time at all...
