Riverside County: Law says you HAVE to wear mask

What masks? There are none. Make your own? And who decides if it is correctly made? Meanwhile, you go to jail or get a ticket if caught without one. Whats next? Martial law?

And a bronx tiger has been tested positive for the flu. Not enough flu tests? Sure there are, if you are a big cat.

This is getting more and more ludicrous.

The sad story is that wearing a mask does not do much to prevent you from getting a virus from others as they don't seal to the face. Their real purpose is to keep you from spreading it to others in close proximity by coughing or sneezing by catching the expelled aerosols! So unless you have Covid, are coughing and sneezing and close to other people, wearing the mask outside is mainly a pointless exercise to make everyone feel good.

So? Do it anyway....Look, one of the responsibilities we have for our fellow citizens is to keep each other calm....If wearing a covering while this is going on helps achieve that, then what's the harm? Also, you said yourself, it will cut down on the spread, is that not a good thing?

What about people with breathing problems whom can't tolerate having their mouth covered? What about people intolerant of heat or exertion whom wearing a mask will make their condition worse? What about the poor on food stamps who don't have $20-$50 to spend on a box of masks, or the elderly who don't get out much who can't travel around to 50 stores looking for a mask? What if you are never out, have no symptoms and feel certain you can't possibly be "sick" nor believe you can have a life-threatening deadly pandemic disease yet still have no symptoms at all and simply refuse to play along like a fool? I can see a lot of harm. It all boils down to the question: WHATEVER HAPPENED TO FREE WILL IN THIS COUNTRY?

Then they shouldn't be out and about anyway...I suggest they fashion something out of cotton if they do go out....

Again, then they must limit their exposure...Maybe have friends, neighbors, or family attend to their needs....If that isn't possible, we live in the 21st century. Hell, you can have just about anything delivered to your home these days.

Everyone, I don't give a shit who it is has something in their house right now that can be fashioned into a mask...And old t-shirt, bandana, etc....Don't tell me that it is mandatory to spend money to make yourself less infective to others....

Then you're a selfish, arrogant asshole that doesn't care for his fellow citizen....Unless you are a doctor, and have a lab in your house to test yourself daily, then you wouldn't know.

Look, you don't want to wear a mask for vanity reasons, as you stated earlier, now you are falling into the trap of the mask you wear must be made for you...What's the matter with you, fingers broken?

I can see a lot of harm. It all boils down to the question: WHATEVER HAPPENED TO FREE WILL IN THIS COUNTRY?

No one is taking away your free will to be a selfish, arrogant asshole...But, when you infect your parents, or Grand Parents because your too vein to wear a simple covering, that's on YOU, no one else....
