I would not be surprised that when the Prosecutor finishes with his sham case that the Defense doesn't ask for a directed verdict and the judge agrees and let Kyle go free. Many legal analysis are predicting this could happen based upon the weak case shown so far.

The prosecutor will have to really up his game from what we have seen so far to prove that Kyle didn't act in self defense.

Hell, they failed at trying to prove the child rapists DNA was not on the AR. Inconclusive DNA analysis, they only swabbed the hand guard and the expert doing the analysis never even saw the AR.

Very clear pictures show the child rapist trying to take the rifle away from Kyle, which whould have resulted in Kyle's death.

However, if he was acting illegally by having the firearm that does not negate using the firearm for self defense.

He may be guilty of the misdemeanor of possesioning the firearm but he is definitely innocent of murder because it was self defense.
