Right on cue California Democrat lawmakers side with biolgical males in women's sports

Oh really? What to you is "level playing field?"

Would you accept me saying that basketball is ruined because it favors tall players?
Or football is ruined because it favors heavy people?
Michael Phelps broke a lot of records he was double jointed. Is that cheating? Did he ruin the entire sport of swimming?

Professional sports is not a level playing field, in fact, it's precisely having extraordinary abilities that makes you successful. Now, I for one, don't consider A FEW isolated cases of trans people competing in professional sports important enough to legislate and marginalize an entire group of people. Nor do I think A FEW isolated cases competing and MAYBE being successful (you didn't give an example of records being broken) ruins an entire sport.

It ruins an entire society.

Do you think all females play sports? I don't.
Do you think of all the females who play sports there are many that have to compete against trans athletes? I don't.
Do you think that all the females that compete against trans athletes know or care what somebodies' biological gender is? I don't. In fact, until a certain age a lot of sports are mixed

The simple fact is, that this issue that gets you all up in arms affects an infinitesimal small group of people. So few in fact, that every time it happens its big news.

So let me flip this question. Why is this tiny percentage of the population so important that their mere existence is a personal affront to an entire political ideology? Why is it that these people need to be marginalized and punished to the point that they have suicide rates many times that of the general population?

Why are boys and girls in sports separated after a certain age?

De la Chapelle syndrome, also known as 46,XX testicular disorder of sexual development, affects approximately 1 in 25,000 male infants.
Swyer Syndrome affects only 1 in 80,000 people.
Jacobs Syndrome only affects 1 in 1,000 male newborns.

We're talking 0.47% of the total US population who identifies as "transgender", while a full 1% of the US population is estimated to have schizophrenia. I would guess there's quite an overlap between those who believe they're transgender, and those who suffer from schizophrenia.
It's funny that the whole right tries to legislate against a group of people that consist of 1 percent of the populace and at the same time tries to argue that because something is rare it should be ignored.

In volleyball a girl was maimed for life when a tranny spiked the ball into her head. No girl could generate that much force.

In running men will win everytime against women of equal age.

In boxing a man will ALWAYS have more strength, stamina, power, and speed over a woman of equal weight.

The vaunted USA women's soccer team LOST a game to a bunch of 15 year old boys.

In tennis the Williams sisters, while at the top of their game, were crushed by a guy ranked below 200 who was smoking cigarettes between the matches.

They lost 6-1, 6-0.

Jacobs syndrome. These people have XYY chromosomes.
Swyer syndrome. These people have the XY chromosomes but also a womb.
De la Chapelle syndrome. Biological female who looks male including a penis.
% of such occurrences is nominal, and does not justify adjusting the for the minority and against the majority.

Men taking championships from women will continue until there are no female championship. There will be men and men pretending to be women. Seeing an easy way to win, stronger men will take the championships from men pretending to be women. In the future there will be no women's sports at all.

It's already happening.

Leftards feelings won’t allow them to think the scenario through. It’s how they feel at any given moment that matters.

These aren't psychological issues but biological ones. As for those who do only have psychological issues with their gender. Can you name a single sport that was "wrecked" because of transgenderism, or is your entire point, "I know of a few cases and therefor the entire sport is ruined."

And calling me names doesn't make your point more valid. It just tells me about the vapidity of your argument.
The percentage of Trans in women's sports is statistically small. The concern is the precedent being set and the potential snow ball that could come. Women have fought, and justifiably so for many of their rights, against a "Man's world". Now, the left is suggesting that a man, can now enter the women's world by just claiming so. And it crazy that we have liberal women, who are 'feminists', being okay with a man, just claiming to be a women, come in and potentially taking roles and spots that biological women have fought hard for and owned half a century or more.

It really is lunacy in ideology.

Why are YOU so obsessed with that "tiny percentage of the population". Half the population - women, don't care. Only men with tiny penises and no brains, care about this non-issue.

Women care about the abortion issue, and you keep killing women who are trying to have babies, and Republicans made it HARDER for pregnant women to get care. Why are Republicans doing nothing but murdering pregnant women????

You're in the minority sweetie.

Oh really? I've played soccer my entire life, was semi-professional for over 15 years. You know what the secret is to kicking a ball really hard? The right technique. I can kick a ball at 80 percent force, and make it really move. Providing I hit it just right and with the proper part of my foot. The fact that I don't hit it full bore but with control helps it, not hurt it. The same I suspect goes for volleyball.

As for differences. Yes, a man and a woman are different physically. On the other hand somebody who transition loses some of that advantage. And again, how many trans people play sport at a high level? Can you name 10?

We're not going to set policy based on your scientific illiteracy.

The issue isn't whether or not someone has a medical or a psychological condition, the issue is biological men being involved in women's sports.

Now would you believe that some furry who gets his rocks off by dressing up like a horse should be able to enter the Preakness or the Kentucky Derby?

Should this guy be allowed to enter a cat show? :laughing0301:

It favor's tall player, certainly, but there have been plenty of cases where below avg height players have succeeded and done well in the NBA and the WNBA. Now, if you take Lebron James and put him in the WNBA and he scores 800 points a night.... Well, Dave Chappel said it best on that one.
Or football is ruined because it favors heavy people?
It doesn't favor heavy players. Tell me you know nothing about football.

Irrelevant to the discussion example.

Athletics have been segmented by biological sex since the inception. Women, didn't have those opportunities, not so long ago, and when they were presented, they have flourished, in their own way and within their own capacities. The field is leveled by biological sex.

Now within those sexes certain factors eventually separate individuals into different categories, recreational, amateur and professional. And each of those areas have their level of playing.

But what you and many on the left are okay with is a Male who isn't even on the pro level going in and wrecking potentially all levels of woman's sports. Even if the % of participation is small, it is impacting someone a biological woman. Period and you're okay in saying... the impacted isn't that big of deal.

Trans people have been around a VERY long time. Whatever precedent you fear has been set a LOOONG time before. The percentage has been small for DECADES. What is your justification for "fearing the precedent" all of a sudden?

Actually of all the examples perhaps the most relevant. He had a genetic condition that increased his range of motion by 20 percent. Helping him to swim faster than the competition. Can you explain why that isn't relevant in a discussion about banning people from sports because of their genetic makeup?
