You have nothing but fallacy. Price inflation happens. Why no outcry when fuel prices doubled, right wingers?
Fallacy? Dude, price inflation happens due to the rising costs of running a restaurant or any other business, and one of the biggest cost factors in this country is labor. You're advocating for a pretty large increase in labor costs, in some cases nearly doubling it. That cannot be done without a serious impact on price; most restaurant businesses are already operating on a pretty small profit margin as it is, and a significant number of restaurants have gone out of business in recent years. Do you not see that the m-wage increase will drive many more of those businesses into closing? That ain't fallacy, that is reality.
Don't know how old you are, but there was plenty of outcry when fuel prices soared in the 1970s and every time it's happened since then. People have to put gas in their cars but they don't have to go to McDs, you know? Which BTW has zip to do with the m-wage fight.
