Remember Reagan's famous "shining city on a hill" speech? Well, apparently so did some Republicans who are against Trump. They are using it as an anti Trump ad.

My question is............................what took them so long? And, apparently, Trump has done such a crappy job as president so far that they would rather vote for Biden.

Hey, even though I didn't like Reagan when he was in office, he was still light years ahead of Trump in being presidential.

The Mt.Rushmore Speech was equal to that and the JFK Inauguration speech. Yet the filthy Dems spit all over it. Figures. Their candidate can't even speak.

The fact remains that Republicans are blind partisans when it comes to supporting a Republican president – no matter how wrong, reprehensible, and unfit that Republican president might be.

But given the nature of the 2016 election, just a one or two percent defection from Trump might be enough to vote him out of office.

Even Reagan thought that if people could get to this country, they should be allowed in. Trump and his supporters don't feel that way.

Was sucking Iran’s dick handing them billions, forcing US citizens to buy insurance or be fined and signing us up to pay for the worlds farce of global warming presidential?

If that’s your idea of presidential I think I don’t really want someone you consider to be that in office.

Reagan actually thought about what he said before he said it. Not only that, but he tried to keep the country united, even if people didn't like him.

Trump on the other hand is a childish man baby who constantly whines about people not liking him, how big his rallies are, and how great he thinks he is. Sorry, but saying we're gonna do some beautiful, wonderful stuff without telling anyone what it is, is far from presidential.

I don’t give a fuck about any of that. He’s deregulated and got us out of some shitty deals past “presidential” assholes got us in.

Similar frauds of their ilk didn't like Reagan either, they just try to rewrite history as if they did. Every couple of decades it seems, a Reagan or a Trump has to come along, bring patriotism and libertarianism back to the GOP party and sweep the mess up.

"Conservatives" thought Reagan was too extreme back then for his rhetoric against Russia, they feared a nuclear war with Russia. Understandable to be concerned, but it was the wrong approach. Reagan, like Trump, called out communism without apology. Now they look back with admiration for Ronald while pretending THEY represent Reaganism, meanwhile Trump does. He is the guy who called out the communists without fear, and confronted them. No other politician did.

Want to know how much of a tariff Reagan hit Japan with? Try 100%, and they were considered an ally (though an economic competitor). Trump is the most like Reagan since the man himself and the fight he has is even tougher than Reagans that's for sure. The MSM and global socialists all drool over China even as China threatens them, mocks them, spies on them and works to destroy their nations existence.

I am willing to bet my right arm that Reagan would surmise what is going on today and without question if he is looking down he is rooting for Trump. The neo-cons and Establishment GOP are NOT what will drive America to success.
