No other western police force in the world has these problems of just riddling unarmed people with bullets.Metal health spending would reduce the need for police over time, sure. But the short term action should be spending more on police issues that make a difference. Better trained police and more accountability within it would go a long way.
The American police system is broken, many argue that it's working as intended.
Training isn't the issue, a total revamp is necessary.
