The actual percentage of the population who likes Trump has always been a minority.

Trump may have won in 2016, but he lost the popular vote. He just got the right voters in the right states. He lost the popular vote as well as the 2020 election itself. Republicans might want to pretend Trump won in 2020, but deep down they know he actually lost. They just won’t admit they’ve been wrong all along.

Trump’s approval rating is low and always has been.

Think of all the comedians and actors republicans used to like but now realize those people despise Trump. Take Family Guy as a good example.
