California’s redistricting is governed by an “independent” redistricting commission. It is in their state constitution
You do not get it.

lol.....someone already tried that in that thread john.....it was dated from that week.....here it is john...... using a several months old poll, you bet.
Check them now, buddy.
are you speaking from experience john?....Watch and learn, grasshopper.
California politics makes Louisiana's look biblically moral.
Speaker Johnson is a member of the Shreveport bar.are you speaking from experience john?....
ok how about California?....how long did you live there?...Speaker Johnson is a member of the Shreveport bar.
I have two friends there who know him, and they say he is as slimy as they come.
The rest of LA is well known for political corruption. Novels have been written about it.

67 million non-in-person votes is not fantasy. The party that fantasizes about stolen elections and routinely accuses the other side of cheating, is now doing just that. What Texas is attempting to do is a cheap trick. It should be illegal and struck down by the courts. This is a subversion of democracy. The voters should be choosing their representatives, not the other way around. If they are successful in this endeavor it may very well trigger "redistricting wars" in which the parties that have total control of a state draw up the most egregious gerrymanders they can to counter the opposition in other states. The result of this will be less competitive elections, voter disenfranchisement, and lower participation.
Texas GOP lawmakers released their first draft of the state’s new congressional map Wednesday, proposing revamped district lines that attempt to flip five Democratic seats in next year’s midterm elections.
The new map targets Democratic U.S. House members in the Austin, Dallas and Houston metro areas and in South Texas. The draft, unveiled by state Rep. Todd Hunter, R-Corpus Christi, will likely change before the final map is approved by both chambers and signed by Gov. Greg Abbott. Democrats have said they might try to thwart the process by fleeing the state.
This unusual mid-decade redistricting comes after a pressure campaign waged by President Donald Trump’s political team in the hopes of padding Republicans’ narrow majority in the U.S. House.
Currently, Republicans hold 25 of Texas’ 38 House seats. Trump carried 27 of those districts in 2024, including those won by Democratic U.S. Reps. Henry Cuellar of Laredo and Vicente Gonzalez of McAllen.

Are you equally as incensed that New Mexico's Democrats redrew district lines so that no Republican can be elected pretty much anywhere at the state or federal levels? The party that fantasizes about stolen elections and routinely accuses the other side of cheating, is now doing just that. I’ve repeatedly said we need to take the drawing of districts out of the hands of politicians
LOL.lol...you cant talk about nothing but your boogeyman can you?.,....you are the perfect example of the die hard party person....lol...
LOL.
They need a projection icon for this board.
For months not a peep from your party about Clinton, Obama or Biden, when Trump was asked about the JFK , MLK and Epstein files.
Then your dear leader choked as usual, on the Epstein files , your party came out of the woodwork, blaming everyone or anything else, EXCEPT the guy who said he would release the files.
Just like Trump.....................
Except for the fact that they squeezed out all the gerrymandering juice they had years ago. Democrats in NY and California wont do any gerrymandering at all now, because they will likely lose seats if they do.California is going to gerrymander five to seven GOP districts. No way it can be stopped. That will take care of the GOP's gerrymandering in Texas.
Your word is as good as Trump's.hey asswipe i told you my party is the dresden party led by Rufus T.Firefly...i can give a **** about your boogyman who occupies your ******* head 24 hours a day
This thread is....................not everything is about trump chump....
