Republicans Are Now Vowing Total War And The Consequences Could Be Immense

Republicans are suggesting there could be armed conflict if they don't get their way. But look at these people. These are the people who would be leading that armed conflict. You could walk faster than most of them could run. Offer them some Kentucky Fried, they'll stop fighting. It's finger licking good.
They look like regular Americans to me.

Article from the Washington Post today. If this country goes down in flames due to Repug right-wing extremism, at least one newspaper tried to warn us:

Republicans are now vowing Total War. And the consequences could be immense.

The election is just five days away, and something truly frightening is happening, something with far-reaching implications for the immediate future of American politics. Republicans, led by Donald Trump but by no means limited to him, are engaging in kind of termite-level assault on American democracy, one that looks on the surface as though it’s just aimed at Hillary Clinton, but in fact is undermining our entire system.

...........Do not copy and paste this much from other sources. There's a reason links are required with outside sources.

Only one party is doing all of that. And we should all be very worried about what Republicans will do after November 8, whether they win or lose.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

-- Thomas Jefferson

Repug voter suppression in states like N. Carolina and Wisconsin does nothing to promote liberty.

... which, of course, you have no proof. All you have is propaganda from the left. And, of course, we'll never know, since Dems oppose voter ID laws, and won't allow surveys of their voting rolls.

And you wonder why???? Bang, bang.
Grow a pair and learn to lose with dignity.

Losing is one thing ... having it stolen is something else completely.

The only thing stolen was your brain. There might be some sporadic voter fraud here and there but certainly not enough to sway the election. Don't be such a sore loser, lose with grace and dignity.

"Oh sure, there's murder ... but not enough to threaten your children."
"Oh sure, there's theft ... but not enough to affect your income."
"Oh sure, there's molestation ... but not enough to have to worry about your children."

The simple fact of the matter is that I hold the right to vote in such high esteem that to tolerate even a SINGLE instance of voter fraud is anathema to my beliefs and the basis on which this country is built.

By what possible sense of morality can you say that "a little crime is okay"?

Sore loser? Surely, you jest ...

Being a loser is one thing ... being a victim is another.

I will NOT be a silent victim.

Funny, who posted this again? Oh yeah, a LIBERAL.

Every time liberals make a post like this they remind people how the DNC's own personal leaked e-mails exposed them as RACIST, SEXIST, HOMOPHOBIC, ANTI-SEMITES. :p

If Trump wins, his base will be victims. Once they find out that there are no such things as high paying jobs with zero necessary skills, they will find out how truly screwed they are.

And all because they listened to a con man they knew was a con man but just didn't want to believe he would con them the way he's done to everyone he has ever known.

Your analogy to murder doesn't even make sense. :cuckoo: Both sides commit voter fraud. But it's sparse. Trump is going to hrt schlonged today, not because of fraud, not because the system is rigged, but because he's a clown of a candidate who never had a chance to be president to begin with. He's going to lose because most of voting America rejects his vitriol and his unhinged logorrhea.

I would say deal with it, but you're clearly too unhinged yourself to deal with reality.

Too stupid to understand the difference between a news article and an opinion piece I see.

I never stated otherwise, lightweight. More importantly, the author is 100% correct about how you Repug extremists are dangerous to our democracy and how you are trying to use the FBI as a political instrument, like the fascist dickheads that you are.

extremists are dangerous to our democracy and how you are trying to use the FBI as a political instrument

Only Dems should be able to use the FBI (and IRS) as a political instrument. WAAAAAAAH

And when have Democrats done this? Didn't think so.

Besides under Obama and Clinton?

Examples, lightweight?? Didn't think so.

This is a perfect example of the dishonest intellectual laziness that the Washington Post was talking about.

Examples, lightweight??

Obama used the IRS, Clinton used the FBI.

Are you 12? Don't remember back that far? LOL!

The Congressional hearing over the IRS involvement in political pay-back showed there was no evidence that Obama did any such thing. Neither did the Clintons, and yes, there was a Congressional into that too.

I love how Republicans hold Congressional investigations into potential wrongdoing by Democrats but then continue to say the Democrats did those things, even though the Republican investigations proved that the didn't do them at all.

You mean like the Repug state legislature has tried to do in North Carolina?? You will proceed to ignore these facts, like you dishonest Repug fucks always do. -

Appeals court strikes down North Carolina’s voter-ID law

In the North Carolina case, the 4th Circuit panel agreed with allegations that North Carolina’s omnibus bill selectively chose voter-ID requirements, reduced the number of early-voting days and changed registration procedures in ways meant to harm blacks, who overwhelmingly vote for the Democratic Party.

“The new provisions target African Americans with almost surgical precision” and “impose cures for problems that did not exist,” Judge Diana Gribbon Motz wrote for the panel. “Thus the asserted justifications cannot and do not conceal the State’s true motivation.”

No, the fact that it is true is what makes it true.

"...a three-judge panel of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a unanimous opinion in language one does not often see, castigating the IRS — and Justice Department lawyers — for their misbehavior in a lawsuit filed by one of the Tea Party organizations that was targeted by Lois Lerner and the IRS. The court accused the IRS and its DOJ lawyers of doing everything they can to delay, avoid, and stop the public from finding out about the IRS’s abuse of taxpayers and its political targeting of citizens." -

And what the court said:

"Among the most serious allegations a federal court can address are that an Executive agency has targeted citizens for mistreatment based on their political views. No citizen — Republican or Democrat, socialist or libertarian — should be targeted or even have to fear being targeted on those grounds. Yet those are the grounds on which the plaintiffs allege they were mistreated by the IRS here

Evidence?? There is nothing here indicating malicious wrong-doing on the part of Obama or Clinton. And you know it. This weak-ass shit is all you got.
