1. the appropriations committee chairman will have authority to write in changes to any of the appropriations bills after the bill is passed. (ain't that just handy?)

2. executive amnesty is fully funded (BO is smiling)

5. half a billion to 'nice terrorists'

RUSH: There is panic inside the Beltway. There is panic over the "cromnibus" bill, the cromnibus spending bill, ladies and gentlemen. It appears that the Republican leadership pretty much gave Obama and the Democrats everything they want except for one thing. They are making some tweaks, and I'm gonna get into this in greater detail. Just setting the table now. They made some tweaks in the cromnibus bill to the Dodd-Frank financial reform bill, and Elizabeth Warren is fit to be tied. She's livid.

Now, she's in the Senate, and she's out there saying that the Republicans in the House (laughing) want to shut down the government over their tweaks to the Dodd-Frank bill. No, it's Elizabeth Warren that will shut down the government if she objects to this. But, see, this is how it works, and this is why we all have bent over backwards to tell the Republicans will you stop worrying about what's gonna be said about you.
