one in a million :D REAL outlier but nonetheless ;)
Inglis served in Congress for 12 nonconsecutive years, but once his children reached voting age, they persuaded him to take a closer look at climate science. Inglis traveled to Antarctica—twice—and his conversations with scientists there convinced him climate change was a growing threat that everyone, especially conservatives, needed to take more seriously.

Science, plus his deep Christian faith, convinced Inglis that taking action on climate—and saving countless lives in the process—was the right thing to do. Almost immediately, he began advocating for carbon pricing: He argued that it would be good for business and the environment. He even began looking to Canada for inspiration.

anyone who must resort to politics on a scientific topic has already lost.

Ingles, Huntsmen, and others that are not like Inhofe, willing to sell his soul for money. When the GOP returns to it's senses, and stops kowtowing to the fruitloops of the far right, then I will be looking forward to being able to vote for a Republican like Tom McCall of Oregon.

Huntsman is a died int he wool socialist. He is a RINO in the great liberal state of Utah. There are many wolfs in sheep's clothing. Only those who wish the fraud to be perpetuated will stoop to these levels. It is something we have come to expect from liberal trash.

There are Socialist Statist's in both parties..

Someone please define "near-term climate action".

In alarmist speak, It is an imaginary catastrophe that must be mitigated TODAY (even though none of their predictions have ever come to pass) by them taking your money today... dont worry about proof... they dont need it.. their progressive liberals and they are above providing poof for anything that forwards their power stealing agenda.

No. "Climate action" would be an act by us to mitigate or alleviate harmful climate change. If you'd like to see some evidence - actually quite a bit - that the world is going to continue getting warmer and that this will cause problem with which we must deal, have a look around www.ipcc.ch.

Here's another Republican who has recently left the reservation, and thus earned a spot on the Republican "We hates it, we hates it forever!" list.

This businessman thinks he can change the GOP s mind on climate change - The Washington Post
---
This week, heads turned when the news emerged that a conservative Republican and successful businessman from North Carolina was investing $175 million in an overall effort to focus attention on climate change and clean energy and, in particular, to get conservatives to change their minds on climate change.

The businessman is Jay Faison, founder of SnapAV, an audio-visual equipment company that was recently acquired by investment firm General Atlantic. It’s the third business that Faison launched and sold — his bio calls him a “serial entrepreneur.” But now he’s moving into a different game — with $165 million to endow a foundation, ClearPath, focused on clean energy and climate change, and another $10 million dedicated to a 501c4 organization that can engage in lobbying and get involved in campaigns.

There you go again quoting a discredited report by left wing lying pieces of feces..

Do you actually think you've accomplished something or made a valid point? Who has discredited the IPCC's assessment reports? Roy Spencer? Willie Soon? Anthony Watts? Give us a fucking break. Identify for us a demonstrable lie in AR5. And then get a handle on what is and what is not an unsubstantiated assertion.

I'm sorry Billy Bob but POOF is exactly what they supply.

"Their progressive liberals..."??? Whose progressive liberals?

And, I'd have to agree. We are above providing poof.
