Republican Debate: February 25, 2016

I loved it when Trump commented on the mexican ex prez said **** that wall and Trump said.."it just grew another 10 feet".

THAT is what we need!

And Trumps comment about dealing with Putin or the Chinese and being all sweaty like Rubio. He's right. Sweat shows uncertainty and weakness.

So...not surprised Trump is leading the polls AGAIN.

Cruz fucked himself with his shenanigans.
Rubio is too sweaty and tries too hard to play with the big boys.
Carson is too sleepy.
Kasich....meh. Would make a good VP though.
Trump...not a politician. And THAT is what we ALL are tired of. Politicians. Let's see what a business man can do.

I generally agree - except that Kasich is a religious nut.
Maybe so, but he has a fairness about him that I like. I don't agree with all he says, but I think being a VP he can help Trump in the foreign stuff.

Trump is an ass. He also called the Mexican ex-president's comment vulgar. Really? From Trump?

Yup. He's an ass. Beats having a wimp in the WH.

The president is supposed to be a diplomat. Not just internationally, but domestically with Congress. Unless he wants to sign an EO for everything he wants to get done he's going to have a problem.

Republicans talk about "fixing" the deficit but never about what caused it. Before Bush was elected, we had a surplus. Then:

Moving millions of jobs to China

Closing tens of thousands of factories

Trillions in tax cuts for the wealthy

and that was just the beginning.

A huge swing from billions in surplus to trillions in debt. And that was years before Obama even ran for president.

After what they did, only a moron could trust these people again.
Trump talks about it all the time, you just hate the fact he's running as a Republican.

He is supposed to also be strong willed, firm, know how to make "deals" and love this country and has many people in his cabinet that know what the hell they are doing. Again, it beats the wimp we had now.

DAYUM I wish we had another JFK. Alas...we don't. And I don't want Sanders or Clinton ANYWHERE NEAR the WH. So Trump it is.

Update:

Time Magazine Poll results.

Five Republican presidential candidates took to the stage for a debate Saturday night in Houston. Who do you think won?

Donald Trump
73 %
Ted Cruz
3 %
Marco Rubio
17 %
John Kasich
6 %
Ben Carson
1 %
4,462 Votes

I wouldn't call a man who was a Democrat until he was in his 60's strong willed and firm.

The top income tax rate in the United States is 39.6 percent.

Add them all up DIZZY. don't forget anything. Fees too. Then go thru the 77K page book and itemize dedcuctions for normal Americans. Or should we just use standard deduction? is HSA taxed?

No Kasich. He has been around 40 years handing out tax dollars to cronies. Please get him out.

LOL!!! Twitter always entertains me. Look at this:

News about #GOPDebate on Twitter

Frank Luntz's focus group after the debate was interesting.

He questioned a young man who would be voting for the first time, and the first thing the kid brought up was the unfair treatment towards Ben Carson during the debate. I think young people are not only getting fed up with politics as usual, but also the way the media covers it. They essentially give the "top-tier" candidates free advertising by only talking about them, and don't let the others speak during the debates. It's nearly impossible for the others to make any headway in the primaries.

Which proves Trump right again, doesn't it?
MEDIA is unethical. MEDIA are the ones doing the choosing by forcing everyone into a box. MEDIA lies, sneaks and thieves.

Sounds like the fact checkers will be very busy tomorrow.

Fact checkers at a GOP debate are akin to using a divining rod in the desert in search of water. My suggestion is that the dowsers (AND the fact checkers, for sure) should bring their own because that's the only way they're going to have any water OR facts.
