Michigan law enforcement agencies are responding to reports of an active shooter and car ramming at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, midday Thursday.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the roof of the temple. Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard provided a brief update to the media about an hour after reports of an active shooter at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield.

I retired from the steel mill in 2006, so I haven`t kept up with the ways of the gun nuts. Most of the people I know own guns that are for hunting or home protection. I have no problem with that, but people who want concealed carry licenses are the biggest pussies that I`ve ever known who are afraid to leave their homes without a gun tucked in their bra.

I respect the 2nd amendment as it`s written. Where does your militia train and who is your commander?
Have you read the entire amendment or just the NRA`s abbreviated version?

If you read Madison’s other writings, you’d know he intended INDIVIDUAL rights. He spoke of how all a tyrannical government needs to oppress are 1) an enslaved media, and 2) a disarmed populace.

I’m glad to hear you say that. My only experience with Southern Baptists were a couple who kept telling me the Jews were going to hell (unless they convert).
