Reparations: Who Gets Paid?

Nobody will be getting reparations because we`re dead ass broke. Simple as that.

Under Democrat rule, "reparations" and "dead broke" are unrelated concepts.

Their power, as seen in increased votes, is all that matters.

That's the explanation for Hussein Obama telling illegal aliens to go and vote.

You didn't know that????

"Leaked Memo Confirms What We Already Knew About Democrats And Illegal Immigration

To the surprise of absolutely no one, a leaked document from the Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund shows what most of us have always known, but what Democrats like to pretend isn’t their reality.
Namely, the memo, in great detail, maps out how Democrats are relying on illegal immigration to prop up their political future."

Leaked Memo Confirms What We Already Knew About Democrats and Illegal Immigration

As a black man, I'm hoping to get mucho dinero!

And I better get it, whitey!

Tongue in cheek that may be, but it is the central theme of the Democrat Party.

The Democrat Party is now running on full-blown anti-white racism, socialism, infanticide, opposition to free speech, substituting illegal alien voters for the American citizenry, support for rioters, arsonists, murderers, and anarchists, and anti-Semitism… the knuckle-dragging, atavistic pagan party.

We can add 'reparations now! to the indictment.
I want reparations for the 400k dead Union soldiers families. Another 300k shot to pieces.

The families of these people suffered horribly to free the black man. Why are they never mentioned.
180,000 black men fought to free themselves and there would have been more if white people would have let them enlist from the beginning.

6. While the Democrats are lighting the fire under the ‘Reparations’ boiler, the full argument for same comes from here:

1594479828582.png

Because the concept is so wrong, in so many ways, it is imperative that conservatives read this book (Liberals don’t read anything) and be prepared.

From the book: “Racism and discrimination have perpetually crippled black economic opportunities. At several historic moments the trajectory of racial inequality could have been altered dramatically, but at each juncture, the road chosen did not lead to a just and fair America.”

No one who understands human nature will see any benefit in awarding damages for slavery to folks who never picked any cotton except out of an aspirin bottle.

“Earned success is the secret to meaningful happiness. The government can improve your net worth with a check, but it cannot improve your self-worth.”

Jonah Goldberg

And, about ‘opportunities,” I wonder if our pal Wm. Darity will go along with this: no reparations to anyone who hasn’t applied these three rules to their life:

" The Brookings Institution has spent a great deal of effort studying this issue.
And presidential candidate Rick Santorum has been quoting their findings on the campaign trail.
Brookings whittled down a lot of analysis into three simple rules. You can avoid poverty by:

1. Graduating from high school.

2. Waiting to get married until after 21 and do not have children till after being married.

3. Having a full-time job.

If you do all those three things, your chance of falling into poverty is just 2 percent .Meanwhile, you’ll have a 74 percent chance of being in the middle class.

Applies to everyone
These rules apply to all races and ethnic groups. Breaking these rules is becoming more commonplace, unfortunately, for all racial groups."
Three rules for staying out of poverty

Thank You. Include them of course. They get double reparations. Lol

Thinking Cap Question.

We have spent like 25 trillion on the Great Society Reparations for Christ Sake. Ain't the national debt enough?

Let's not forget that the welfare system is a euphemism for the Democrat vote-buying scheme.

After half a century and $22 trillion, the poverty rate is nearly identical with what it was when LBJ began the War on Poverty.

7. Let’s take a look at the writing, and the argument about getting paid.

“From Here to Equality is a book primarily about the economic divide between black and white Americans—how it came to be and how it can be eliminated. Specifically, we contend, a suitably designed program of reparations can close the divide. Black reparations can place America squarely on the path to racial equality. ”

Giving money to the lowest earning group may temporarily bring they up on the asset scale….but if it doesn’t change attitudes and values, it will not last. And don’t forget, their ‘friends,’ the Democrats, have had over fifty years to change that trajectory.

1594483546037.png

“Reparations programs have been used strategically in the United States and throughout the world to provide redress for grievous injustices. These include the U.S. government’s provision of reparations for Japanese Americans unjustly incarcerated (“interned”) during World War II, the German government’s provision of reparations for victims of the Nazi Holocaust, and the Canadian government’s provision of compensation to indigenous peoples who were removed forcibly from their families and confined to Christian, church-run, Indian residential schools.”

See the sophistry there?

All his examples are of folks who actually went through the events that they were awarded for….while Darity wants beaucoup bucks for people who didn’t…..they just have black skin.

The fact that the major political party has taken up this endeavor proves how desperately, and deeply, America has fallen.

I see no way back.

If the Democrats win in November......you can bet on reparations.

1.Terms of recrimination come and go. Once upon a time, probably due to the end of WWII, the attack-words were “you Fascist, you!!”

The term can even be extended to any dictatorship that has become unfashionable among intellectuals. [working-class Americans call it "Communism." Middle-class Americans, educated enough to understand that it's uncouth to say anything against Communism, call it "fascism."] When the Soviet Union and People's China had a falling out in the 1960s, they each promptly discovered that the other fraternal socialist country was not merely capitalist but "fascist." At the most vulgar level, "fascist" is a handy swear-word for such hated figures as Rush Limbaugh or John Ashcroft who, whatever their faults, are as remote from historical Fascism as anyone in public life today.”

The Mystery of Fascism
by David Ramsay Steele

What is most interesting is that the real curse should be ‘You communist, you!” because communism was, by every measure, worse than Nazism/Fascism, but the influence of the Marxism, due to FDR, shifted the vituperation.

“American progressives, for the most part, did not disavow fascism until the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust became manifest during World War II. After the war, those progressives who had praised Mussolini and Hitler in the 1920s and 1930s had no choice but to dissociate themselves from fascism. “Accordingly,” writes Jonah Goldberg, “leftist intellectuals redefined fascism as 'right-wing' and projected their own sins onto conservatives, even as they continued to borrow heavily from fascist and pre-fascist thought.” This progressive campaign to recast fascism as the "right-wing" antithesis of communism was aided by Joseph Stalin, ....”

2. What is the ubiquitous curse today? Of course, it is “You racist, you!!” And that brings us to the question of why that is so, and where it is headed. Clearly, using the term against another is meant to express moral outrage at slavery and oppression, and one’s own virtue-signaling. It has gotten to the point where it presages both a dangerous threat, and, a laugh-line:

“Thrilled with their role as ‘white friend-of-the-blacks,’ many found that they could actually make a living at it! The part requires sneering at nonexistent racists, and memorizing one line: “Goddam it, this may cost me my career but I’m going to speak up for racial equality and let the chips fall where they may!”
Coulter

3. But here’s where it is going: paying the underclass to vote Democrat, what we euphemistically call the ‘welfare system,’ or the ‘safety net,’ has lasted over half a century. Now, the Left needs to insure those votes, so they are ready to up the ante: Reparations.

But….who gets this huge round of largesse?

Who gets paid?
Ironically it was Republicans that first proposed reparations and Democrats that vetoed them.

I think we've been paying reparations for decades in the form of Affirmative Action, employment Inclusion Goals diversity targets, etc. I think these programs are fair and generally popular. If you're talking about cash, forget it, it will never happen.

"If you're talking about cash, forget it, it will never happen."

The Democrats, if they win the election, will rush it through.

There is no line item veto in voting.

That means you'll vote for it, just as you vote for this:

The Democrat Party is now running on full-blown anti-white racism, socialism, infanticide, opposition to free speech, substituting illegal alien voters for the American citizenry, support for rioters, arsonists, murderers, and anarchists, and anti-Semitism… the knuckle-dragging, atavistic pagan party.
Some are fleeing your home city in waves as NYC is going back to “ 70s Warriors movie days”

You may be right.

The bad news is that when NYers, NJ, Conners, leave for NC, Va, Fla........they take the disease with them, vote for the same darn policies that drove 'em out of the Northeast.

There's just no explaining it.

It was one of the best states

Yup.
I have family there.

One of them just bought two suppressors just to spite Northam.

..they ought to be thanking their lucky stars they are not living in shithole Africa..they are a LOT better off because of slavery
I keep telling IM2 that without slavery, nobody with 1% black in them would be alive. How could they???

Everything would be so different. We wouldn't be here as we are even.

I told IM that he might have been born in Africa as a sloppy third. But would probably have been eaten along the way by something.
Anyone with even a passing familiarity with genetics knows that without slavery, none of the descendants of slaves would exist today.

Thinking Cap Question.

We have spent like 25 trillion on the Great Society Reparations for Christ Sake. Ain't the national debt enough?
There is no exit strategy for the War on Poverty.

Of course, there was never intended to be. It's always been about keeping people dependent on government.

Lyndon Johnson: “These Negroes, they're getting pretty uppity these days and that's a problem for us since they've got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we've got to do something about this, we've got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don't move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there'll be no way of stopping them, we'll lose the filibuster and there'll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It'll be Reconstruction all over again. [Said to Senator Richard Russell, Jr. (D-GA) regarding the Civil Rights Act of 1957]”

So my idea is, let's take money from people who were never slave owners, were not in the family of any slave owners, who many immigrated here long after slavery was ended....

and give it to people who were never slaves, didn't know any slaves, most don't even know if any of their ancestors were ever slaves.

Seems legit....
