When California started handing out drivers licenses to illegals, it ceased to be a reliable indicator of identity. The REAL ID became necessary to demonstrate citizenship or at least legal presence.

It's probably just a matter of time before we start handing out REAL IDs to illegals, at which point the SuperREAL ID will be a thing. I should copyright it now.

Finally someone said it. How is yet another ID going to stop a terrorist? Any terrorist will have a clean record and they won't use anyone that can be traced. Just another step toward China style total fascist state control.

It’s not about stopping terrorists. It’s about finally being able to prove that people in this country belong here. I’ve got mine. I believe everyone in my family has theirs.

My wife and about half her family haven’t done it yet. I’ve flat out told them I WILL NOT provide proof of their citizenship and residency (they’re Puerto Rican) if they have some sort of issue with authorities.
