This debate is over, Minnesota “fought” it for years or delayed maybe is a nicer term. I got it first opportunity I had and I wasn’t worried about having another ID with a little mark of a government on it. I’ve had a passport for 30 years. Sky is falling nonsense is ridiculous. I was kind of surprised with my last trip out of Singapore. It had been a while since visiting that country/city state. They’ve always been very strict, but I was surprised because when I was leaving, in check in at airport security they demanded I put my thumbs on scanner so they could scan my thumb prints into their data base. After arguing for about ~ 5 minutes, I finally gave up because the officer had called three more officers and looked very unhappy with me and put his hand on his gun.

It is a centralized national database, the first of its kind unless you are a criminal. Then later they link it to a CBDC currency and your facial recognition scan. There is good purpose it serves with regards to airport security so all the reasons for deploying it are bad. We don't do national IDs in America.
