Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) quoted Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf on House Floor

Congressman Quotes Anti-Semitic Hitler Passage In House To Attack Democrats

Brooks added before reading a section from Mein Kampf, which he failed to mention was written by Hitler about Jews.

“Quote: ‘In the big lie, there is always a certain force of credibility because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature ... and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie,’” Brooks read.

“It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.”

—————

Only Republicans could quote Hitler to attack Democrats because they think they’re protecting the Jews? This is a disgrace. Pure political expediency.

In the text it’s about “big lie”.

It’s about telling such colossal lies that people believe they are true because they’re too ridiculous and huge to be lies. Kind of a weird reverse psychology.

This is the next bit from Mein Kampf that Mo Brooks left out:

From time immemorial .. Jews have know better than any other how falsehood and calumny can be exploited ... (Schopenhauer) called the Jew “The Great Master of Lies.”

And this is why in my opinion that I believe Democrats can be weak at times. They should be demanding an apology from the Republicans for reading Nazi Hitler on the house floor to attack Democrats when what they are reading is actually an attack on Jews.

Republicans should be ashamed of themselves considering who they ran for office in the midterms:

Self-described Nazis and white supremacists are running as Republicans across the country. The GOP is terrified.

You don’t see Nazis and white supremacists running as Democrats. Republicans will say but they did 60 years ago. Yeah 60 years ago.
Before African-Americans left the Republican Party joining the Democrats, and conservatives left the Democrats and swelled the ranks of the Republican Party. That’s why the GOP is a nearly all white party.

Deanie boy is suffering severe PTSD from the Democrat's epic failures during the last two years.

First, his goddess Hillary lost the election.

And now Mueller has found zero evidence of Russian collusion. ...

Wow. Republicans rushing to defend a person who reads quotes from the biggest Nazi that ever lived. The great exterminator. And Republicans say they don’t like him? Oh please, you quote him.

Before Pearl Harbor, the Republicans in Congress were glowing about their praise of Mussolini and Hitler....it's all in the Congressional Record and compiled in a book edited by the author Rex Stout.

Meh. FDR was taking advise from senior staff who reported first to "Uncle Joe" then to FDR. Why do you think Pearl Harbor happened in the first place?

The Japanese?

I think Brook's intent went over your head, Derp. But no surprise there
Oh I know what his intent was. Dog whistle.

To those other members of the Republican Party that Republicans pretend don’t exist when they’re talking in public.

But we know wink wink nod nod.

Are you talking about before 1964?
Because it was in 1964 that the Democrats were the Confederates. And the Republicans were the liberals.
Remember, the north was headed by anti-slave Abraham Lincoln.
The south were the Confederates. Today the south is still the Confederates, but instead of being Democrats they’re Republicans.

David Duke was a Democrat, so you had him before he left and also Robert Byrd...

What would the radical left do without Media Matters to spin inane stuff to left wing blog sites? You could probably quote FDR if you wanted some anti-semitic stuff. Would that be O.K?

The Myth of ‘the Southern Strategy’

Yeah, you're repeating a myth.
